We are looking forward to our 30 hour in-person training on the musculo-skeletal system for yoga coming up in sunny Palma de Mallorca. During this English-language module, we will immerse in the signature components of the Anatomy of Movement® method to discover the dynamic interactions that involve the spine, the lower limbs and upper limbs. We use analysis, group work + asana observation to craft a practical and creative foundation of anatomy skills for yoga teachers.

We still have a few spots left- send us an email to [email protected] if you have questions or are interested to join.

We had a beautiful time organizing the Anatomy for Voice training, taught by none other than Anatomy of Movement® founder Blandine Calais-Germain.

It was a rare opportunity to study in a relatively intimate group, getting a deep dive perspective on the many layers of movement, breath and articulation that make up our voice.

We are grateful to welcome Blandine and other senior teachers year-round in our international hub. Looking forward to more course offerings across different countries in 2020!

Here a few snapshots from the first module of our SINOVI® training instructed by the method's founder Blandine Calais-Germain. It was a rare opportunity to study with Blandine and her team in a relatively intimate environment, while learning about the unique approach required to improve the health of joints, capsules and cartilage. We can't wait for the next generation of teachers to emerge out of this training, and look forward to more training modules with Blandine at our European hub.

What makes Anatomy of Movement courses so different is their focus on multi-sensorial learning. Anatomy is a complex subject that requires an embodied integration of the subject if we are to feel and know the body's structures from the inside-out.

Blandine Calais-Germain and her teacher team have developed a curriculum that comprehensively focuses on learning with the senses: lots of movement exercises, observation, tactile exploration of anatomy models, drawing of anatomical structures and instructive teaching elements make for courses that are uniquely experiential.⁣

We had a great time giving our classic Quick Anatomy course. Facilitated by Angels, one of our school's most experienced teachers, this training has provided participants with an insightful, playful and accurate way to start our learning of anatomy... a never-ending undertaking that becomes more fascinating the longer we study.

Excited to have shared the second ever condensed yoga Anatomy of Movement® training in English language! We spent 30 hours diving into the interplay of Breathing Kinetics, Bandhas, and Pelvis, building on the method's expertise of four decades of education and research.

With so many yoga trainings left with too little time for specialized anatomy study, there has never been a better moment to share these teachings with an international audience as we craft sustainable practices for our bodies.

Follow our newly launched English website www.anatomyofmovement.com to get the scoop on our upcoming international modules happening frequently and year-round— in Europe and beyond.

At our international hub for Anatomy of Movement training, the English 30-hour module on Pranayama, Pelvis and Bandhas is in full swing. Through movement exploration, coloring, body exercises and group discussion, yoga teachers get to dive into anatomy as an immersive subject from day one. The fine balance between detailed guided instruction and open-ended inquiry turns the complex subject of anatomy into a playful learning experience.

One of the strongest aspects of the Anatomy of Movement school its the coherence and integrity of the methodology, which is based on a solid foundation of evolving research, publishing and practical study. This means that the spirit of the multi-sensorial, multi-dimensional teachings of anatomy is maintained throughout the entire team of AoM professionals. It is always an incredible experience to host our founder Blandine Calais-Germain in our international hub in Barcelona, all while knowing that our faculty carry forward key AoM teachings within their own communities.
