Today our college students got to try "bunyols", a delicious traditional Mallorcan treat, during our monthly Snack & Chat meeting! 🥰
These little doughnuts are especially popular in autumn and on “El Dia de les Verges” (The Day of the Virgins) — a lovely local celebration held every October 21st.
On this day, young men traditionally serenade women with songs and flowers, and everyone enjoys freshly made bunyols — warm, soft, and sprinkled with sugar. 🍩✨ It’s one of Mallorca’s sweetest autumn traditions!
Our staff invited them to taste this seasonal flavour — and they absolutely loved it! 😋✨
