Take a look at this example: ola - hola ✔

Hola is an informal greeting. Ola, on the other hand, refers to the waves of great amplitude that form on the surface of the water, to an atmospheric phenomenon, to the impetuous movement of people or to the sudden appearance of something.

The sea is very calm, there are no waves - El mar está muy calmado, no hay olas 🌊

He walked by and didn't say hello - Ha pasado por aquí y no ha dicho hola 👋

Look at this example: dónde - donde ✔

Where (dónde) is an interrogative or exclamatory adverb of place; it is used both to introduce a question and to introduce an exclamation. Where (donde), on the other hand, is a relative adverb of place, it is used to introduce sentences that indicate relations of place.

¿Dónde has viajado este verano? - Where did you travel this summer? ✈

La casa donde vivo es muy grande - The house where I live is very big 🏠
