There is a particular kind of tiredness that comes from speaking Spanish well enough to get by, but not quite deeply enough to think in it.

This coming October we are opening Tertulia, a small Sunday morning dialogue circle near Oviedo for people whose Spanish has outgrown the classroom. Maximum of eight chairs, one carefully chosen question, ninety unhurried minutes. No correction, no worksheets, just real conversation in Spanish about things that actually matter.

Hello! At Espacio Bloom we have available spaces for Spanish on Mondays. And something new for those who are further along.

Si estás pensando en empezar, o en retomar, este podría ser tu momento.

We have spaces available in our small Monday morning group class, starting at 10am in Oviedo. The group is designed for advanced beginners learners who want to use Spanish in real life here in Asturias, not to pass an exam, not to rush, but to feel at home in the language and the culture.

Classes are small, relaxed, and built around real conversation. You'll learn with other people who are navigating similar things, and I would love to have you there.

And for those of you who are already fairly fluent...
We're putting together something a little different: themed conversation sessions for advanced speakers, hosted at our home in a small group, garden or sitting room, depending on the weather, with tea, snacks, and a topic worth talking about. The kind of Spanish practice that doesn't feel like practice at all.

Something that keeps coming up in our conversations with people who have moved to Asturias.
