The Huércal-Overa City Council opens a new call for Grants for Erasmus Scholarships, aimed at those students of the municipality who are enjoying a scholarship of this type in the period from September 1 to July 31, 2022.
The Mayor, Domingo Fernández, has detailed that “we are once again calling for these grants as a measure to support our neighbors, in this case young people who will enjoy an Erasmus grant during the next academic year. This measure is intended to help them during their stay with the Erasmus Grant ”. We continue to bet on “the training of our young people by joining other municipal initiatives such as the Business Internship program for graduates that is open and with which many of our young people have had their first job contact and have trained part of the staff to pass of the companies in which they have carried out their internships ”.
The applicant must be a university student, be registered in the municipality for a minimum of eight years, not necessarily consecutive; be enjoying the Erasmus Scholarship between September 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022 and have not previously been a beneficiary of this same aid. The instances and required documentation must be submitted to the Huércal-Overa City Council General Registry until September 31st.
The documentation to be attached to the instance is the registration certificate / flyer, photocopy of DNI, proof of having been enrolled during the previous year (2020-2021) in a university center, accreditation of being a beneficiary of Erasmus Scholarship where the period of months that includes the course to be taken and the certificate of ownership of the bank account.
The aid may go up to a maximum of 1,000 euros per person depending on the duration of the scholarship obtained.
