Out of curiosity I asked how much a care home would cost me if I ended up there at the lovely age of 65.
Firstly I can't even comprehend how I would be able to afford this on top of supporting my family ( as we know bank of mum & dad doesn't close 🤣)
Realistically we are seeing an early increase of younger elderly adults entering the care home.
Your health doesn’t have a price tag. But neglecting it can have a very big one.
We spend years telling ourselves “I’ll start when I have more time.”
“I’m not that bad.”
“I’ll deal with it later.”
But later eventually becomes loss of strength, mobility, independence and quality of life.
The reality is harsh: you don’t suddenly become frail at 50/70 or 80. The foundations are being built decades before, like right now!
Investing £89 a month into your health isn’t just about losing weight or looking better in the mirror.
It’s about building muscle, strength, balance, fitness and confidence NOW — so your future self has a better chance of being the woman who can still get up off the floor, carry her shopping, climb the stairs and look after herself.
You can keep hiding from the reality.
Or you can do something about it while you still can.
Your future health is being decided by what you do today.
We don't all have to have the same goals and it's ok to ask for help, or for support, even if it's to get you started. But I know for sure that we all have one thing in common and that's to get stronger in our body's ability ( and also to avoid paying high costs like this at the end of it, no thank you 🤣)

Some hard home truths on why you’re not achieving results.
😞You only show up when you feel motivated.
Progress happens when we are consistent daily and that means doing the work even when we feel unmotivated.
😞Trying to make the day feel as easy as possible. Avoiding nutritious meals, drinking calories, avoiding movement, not prioritising sleep, things like are there to make your health better in the long term.
😞 You’re waiting for the right time, don’t waste it, prioritise it. This is the time that’s been lost if you had just committed at the beginning. The first few weeks will be challenging because it’s all about mastering routine. You can quit and start as many times as you want but it will always be down to mastering the basics.
😞 To become a better person with the goals that you want you need to act like it. Behave like the person you want to be, eat with health in mind, train in the gym with purpose, create sleep as a priority. Unfortunately this can also mean who you surround yourself with. If your family support you they won’t encourage you to make bad choices.
😞 Stop justifying excuses for everything when it goes wrong. You didn’t lose weight because you didn’t stick to plan. You ran out of time for the gym because you were stuck in the car scrolling. Didn’t want to get up early to go for a walk. Couldn’t be bothered to prep meals for work, decided to have a cheat day because you had a s**t week. These continued excuses will just keep you further back. Decide what means more to you?
😞 At the end of the day, you can either stay stuck in the rut that your in or your going to finally admit that support is needed and you finally want to get out of this and see your self through to the results you actually want! 🔥
You know me well enough to know I can get you there,
What’s the worse that’s going to happen?
You kick start yourself, you kick start the goals you finally want to achieve, and finally find a plan that actually fits you and your lifestyle!

STOP PUTTING YOUR HEALTH ON HOLD 🩵
Waiting for the right moment, the right time, doesn’t exist! And when it does it’s too late.
“I’ll start after my holiday.”
“I’ve got too many events coming up.”
“Il wait till the kids go back to school”
“I’ll start Monday.”
But the truth is… life will always happen.
There will always be holidays, birthdays, meals out, parties and celebrations.
You don’t need to avoid them to reach your goals. You need to learn how to adapt them into your lifestyle.
I want my clients to;
Enjoy the holiday. 🍹
Have the meal out. 🍽️
Go to the party. 🥂
Your goals don’t require perfection — they require consistency.
Stop waiting for life to slow down because we both know it won’t 🤣
Think where you could have been if you had taken the action you said you would months ago? (And I see this far too much from women who wish they had done this sooner!) You could be sitting right now glowing in your results if you had decide to take action when you said you would.
The first step is always the hardest, this is why I take away all the stress and put together a plan that you can slip into easily without the worry of events, holidays and kids.
So instead of saying to yourself il wait, pop me a msg now and we can get started away!
Learn to make your health a part of your life, not something you put on hold. 💪🏼❤️

She’s going on the feed, because never ever would I be saying IM A DANCE INSTRUCTOR! ✨✨✨✨✨
Thank you so much to everyone that got involved and cheered me on when I lack the confidence to do so.
Each week I find a little part of me, the little girl that loves to dance. I went to bed every night dreaming of performing but never took that step because I was ashamed of my body, ashamed of being overweight.
When I started to loose the weight the first time, group exercise became my therapy. I found something that gave me a passion to live. Through all bad Iv had thrown at me, my therapy got me though it.
(Trying so hard not to cry) but she would be so damn proud, I’d tell her, everything comes in due course, just be patient and enjoy the journey.

It’s a touchy subject….
Muscle building for women…..
Firstly if someone comes out to you and claims to have built a ton of muscle in a month needs shot at 🫠
Building muscle isn’t easy… especially for women. And it becomes even more challenging as we age.
One of the biggest myths in fitness is that women “bulk up” too easily, unfortunately if you have gained weight in a short time, it’s most definitely not muscle.
The truth? Most women have to work incredibly hard to build muscle, it’s taken me 12 years to get to this level (throw in a couple of pregnancies and Covid)
As we get older, particularly during perimenopause and menopause, our hormone levels change. We naturally begin to lose muscle mass, our recovery slows, and maintaining strength takes more effort than it did in our 20s and 30s. Regardless of age, your never to old to start building strength!
That doesn’t mean it’s impossible. It just means we need to work SMARTER not HARDER. And this is where I see ladies go wrong. Excessive classes, lack of nutritional support and poor recovery 💤
Muscle isn’t just about looking henched 🫣.
It’s one of the best investments you can make for your long-term health.
More muscle means:
✔️ A stronger metabolism
✔️ Better bone density
✔️ Improved balance and mobility
✔️ Greater independence as you age
✔️ Strenght & muscle tone
✔️ More hormone support including insulin
Pounding your body harder as you age is the complete opposite of what we want to achieve long term!
I have specialised plans specifically for women over 40 to help and improve this transition so we can actually achieve better results and find a plan that works for us and not against us!
Remember we want longevity, not a plan that works for 3 weeks of the year.
Pop me a msg for more information..
Put you first 🫶🏼
