🐾 VETS - Breaking bad news is never easy, but how we say it matters and will affect how the pet owner responds to the information.
Conversations of this nature can be challenging, but with practice, you can develop your style of communicating such information in a sensitive way that the client can understand and feel supported in the decisions that will follow.
If this is something you find difficult, please feel free to contact me for help.

Learning a language requires us to leave our comfort zone.
That feeling when we have to speak to someone, or even worse, when we have to speak to someone on the phone. 😱
We have to step out of our comfort zones and speak, and we will make mistakes. I have made and still make mistakes when speaking Spanish.
But this is how we learn. Our mistakes are helpfully corrected (sometimes with lots of laughter involved when I realise what I have incorrectly said!), and then we learn how to say it correctly. It reinforces our learning.
Remember, making mistakes is not a sign of failure when learning a language. In fact, it's a crucial part of the learning process. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow.
So, find your inner courage and step out of your comfort zone. Speak, and watch your confidence and ability grow. You won't regret it!

If you know, you know!
And if you don’t, let me introduce you to this glitterball – a symbol of 'Strictly Come Dancing,' a much-loved British TV show that's been running for years. It pairs celebrities who can't dance with professional dancers to learn Latin and ballroom styles.
For many of us, including myself, the start of 'Strictly' marks the countdown to Christmas! The show runs from September to December, with one couple eliminated each week until the final dance-off, where the top 3 couples compete to win the glitterball trophy.
So, how does this relate to learning English and preparing for the OET?
On 'Strictly,' each celebrity makes remarkable progress with the guidance of a professional. By the end of the competition, many of them dance so well that it’s hard to tell the professional from the amateur!
Could someone learn to dance alone by watching YouTube videos? Sure, but the results wouldn't compare to working with an expert who provides guidance, feedback, and correction.
The same goes for your OET preparation. By working with a skilled OET teacher, you'll see faster progress, improved skills, and a higher chance of success.
Start working with an expert now, and imagine how far you’ll have come by the end of the year! 💫
Your glitterball is your UK registration, and it's within reach!

🎯Struggling with your preparation? You're not alone! 🎯
Self-study can be effective, but just doing practice tests by yourself may not result in the high scores you need on test day. 😕
What if you could work with someone who understands your job and can provide targeted strategies to improve your skills? Imagine the difference a tailored approach could make to your confidence - and your score!📈
I've helped others like you pass the OET and find their dream job in the UK 🇬🇧
