Here at Jessica Davies Singing School, we have social distancing of 2m at all times and parents....

The Kings are looking for young people aged 7 to 17 who would like to appear in our 2020 Panto. Socially distanced auditions are on 4 Oct, but you MUST have pre-registered with us before 10am on 28 Sept. More information and registration form are on our website.

SING IN YOUR SLIPPERS'

We're following in the footsteps of Gareth Malone and The Sofa Singers and I am so pleased to tell you that after a few days of research and testing I am launching the first of my online choir sessions which I am naming 'Sing In Your Slippers'.
The session will take place THIS Friday 20th March at 11am.

This will be a 45 minute free session and will be open to choir members and anyone else who wishes to come along!
(virtually of course!) 😂😂😂

If, like me, technology is not your first language then please DON'T PANIC!
It's really not as difficult as you may think to get set up to join in and I'll be putting together a set of instructions which I'll post of this page tomorrow.

I'm going to be using a conferencing app called 'Zoom'.
This allows us to connect together via video and audio from our phones, tablets or computers.

As this is a new concept to us I'll also be putting together a list of FAQs in order to answer the questions I think you may have about our new venture to alleviate your concerns before we begin which will posted on here tomorrow too.

Of course if you have any other questions that I haven't answered in tomorrow's post then please don't hesitate to message me (07947 182364) or email me ([email protected] and I promise to reply promptly!

As with anything brand new I anticipate that there may well be a few teething problems so I ask that you bear with me for our first 'test' session please and I'll try to iron out any flaws we may encounter along the way!

If you're unable to make the first session please don't worry because I'm intending to bring you more (if it goes well!)

Lastly I just want to say that in this time of uncertainty I'm so grateful for our singing family and I'm really hopeful that this will keep us connected and supportive of one another.

Singing lessons will now be offered online via Skype/Facetime/Whatsapp Video Call or Facebook Video Call at a discounted rate; please contact for lesson availability & prices.

You just need access to one of these forms of video chat, a comfortable place in your home and you can let off some steam whilst singing your favourite songs!

During these confusing & difficult times, it's important to try our hardest and keep some sense of normality to help get through it together.

Why stop something you love and look forward to, when the world of technology we have gives us the opportunity to continue in the comfort of our own homes?!

It is a known fact that music and singing especially, makes you FEEL good and HAPPPY and it has the power to brighten your mood instantly. Don't let this horrible virus stop that!!!
