New academic year, same promise: 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for children from 6 months to 12 years.⁣

Casa del Mar International School is Marbella's only school held to the Montessori standards of both the AMI and the AMS. Each small task: watering a plant, cleaning a table, organizing materials or preparing the environment, has a purpose far beyond simply “helping.”⁣

When a baby has space, time, and a calm presence nearby, both their body and mind grow naturally. ⁣

Trusting is also a way of caring. And observing is a deeper way of being present.⁣

Babies don’t need to be taught how to move - movement unfolds within them, in its own time.⁣
⁣
One position naturally flows into the next, without anyone needing to show them how.⁣
⁣
Sometimes, before stepping in, the best thing you can do is take a step back—because their body is ready, their body knows. Time is precious, and we shouldn’t rush them.⁣

A child who moves freely develops not only their body, but also their personality.

In our Elementary environment, children learn through real-life experiences. ⁣
After School Snacks is an initiative where students prepare and sell healthy snacks for the school community.⁣
⁣
Healthy snacks are prepared by the children themselves, following a process of organization, preparation, and teamwork. Every step becomes an opportunity for meaningful, hands-on learning.⁣
⁣
Through this activity, they develop skills such as planning, responsibility, calculation, and decision-making, while also strengthening their independence and confidence.⁣
⁣
There is also a shared purpose behind it: the profits from the sales help fund the Elementary end-of-year trip ⛺⁣
⁣
In this way, students actively participate in achieving a common goal, experiencing the value of effort, collaboration, and community.
