A very touching and beautifully made video to show that supporting autistic people is often not about doing something extraordinary — it’s about the small everyday ways we “show up”.
Giving someone a bit more time. Being flexible. Listening without judgement. Trying to understand experiences different from our own. Speaking up when needed.

✨ Social Club Meet-up for Neurodivergent Teens ✨
📅 Saturday 9th May
🕓 From 4pm
📍 Parque Tres Jardines, San Pedro de Alcántara
We’re meeting again for a relaxed and supportive afternoon where teens can connect at their own pace, with no pressure or expectations. Parents are, as always, very welcome to stay and chat.
If anyone would like to arrive earlier, there’s a lovely cafeteria in the park (serving mainly pizza and Thai food) where you can have lunch beforehand.
As our group is growing, this time we’ll meet at 4pm in a quieter area of the park. I’ll send the exact location via WhatsApp on the day to those who confirm attendance.
There will be a few board games and some ball/racket games for anyone who feels like joining in. Everyone is welcome to play or walk around, stand or sit on picnic blankets, chat or just enjoy this lovely space.
If you and your teen would like to join, just send me a message — and feel free to share with anyone who might benefit 🙂

It’s not because autistic kids refuse to socialise or prefer being alone.
It’s often because the playground feels overwhelming, unpredictable and hard to navigate. 💙

✨ Social Club Meet-up for Neurodivergent Teens ✨
This Sunday 12th of April from 4pm to 6pm in parque Tres Jardines in San Pedro de Alcántara 🌿
These meet-ups offer a relaxed and supportive space for teens who may find social situations a bit challenging, or who simply prefer quieter, more understanding environments. It’s a chance to spend time together, connect at their own pace, and just be themselves — with no pressure or expectations.
Parents are also very welcome to stay, chat and connect.
The format is simple: a calm afternoon in the park, a few optional games, and plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable.
If you and your teen would like to join us, just send me a message — and feel free to share with anyone who might benefit :)

What a school day can feel like for an AuDHD student.
Sometimes behaviours that look like uncooperative or challenging are actually signs of overwhelm, anxiety, or a nervous system under pressure.
By reframing difficult behaviours, moving from: “This student just won't ... ” to “This student just can't... yet”, we can start having a positive impact on their ability to regulate, and ultimately their capacity to learn.
