Learn how to braze the proper way!. Guillaume from France nailed it. Not only finish his DCB-II course with a couple frames but he took also something way more valuable; knowledge, the why's and how's.
Brazing course is included in our DCB I and II but you can also come for a day just for it.
We have been teaching this course for 8-10 years and we have had not only beginers and already stablish frame builders but also artist and lots of designers. Of course, if you are able to brazing properly a bike frame, the rest is EASY!.

Did you know we devote the entire third day of our DCB-I course to brazing? The reason is that brazing is easy if taught the proper way, so the sooner you learn how to do it, the sooner you can get to designing and making better bikes!.

What a year! We are now wrapping up our 2025 groups—only a few spots remain—and are opening registration for 2026. This includes our two new courses: the Private On-Line Seminar and the FIC (Foundational Introductory Course), available through the spring.

We are so eager to share plenty of updates, including the (at least!) final chapter of our book's first volume—developed specifically for our students—and the new release of our Mark 4 jig, which comes with a dead simple, fool-proof alignment tool.

As for availability, October is fully booked, but we have a few spots left for November and December.

Please remember to check out our courses on the website! All introductory courses come with a discount when bundled with our DCB-I and DCB-II courses.

ANY question DM or email to [email protected] !

Want to learn how to do this? All this is made with the same torch, tip opening and SAME gas settings. The different finishes are obtained by changing the two variables you have left: speed of the torch with respect to the base material and the amount of brass added. High, low and continuous filler material adding. How long you stay in a certain spot will dramatically change the surface interaction of the fillet with the steel (have a look at “wettability angle” and “sessile configurations”). Is not about which one is the “best” one, is to be able to do whatever you want.

If you are able to make it in a straight line imagine what could be achieved in a joint.
Yep, no more cleaning. One pass and off to the painter!

We hold courses every month. Get in touch if you want more info!

Our brazing method has been developed over 15 years, taking into consideration techniques from bicycle frame builders and other types of fabrication from around the world.

Brazing is a safe, economical, and fast process (taking just 35 minutes to braze a full frame) and reduces distortion (due to lower temperatures) compared to other joining methods.

But most importantly, we also have teaching experience. This means not only do we know the proper way to do it, but we can also ensure that with just one visit to our workshop, you’ll gain all the necessary skills to develop your brazing technique independently at the highest level.

We don´t have a store front to hang up one of these flyers, but we wanted to follow what small shops in the center of Madrid are doing.

Let this be our shop front.

“What’s happening in Gaza is a massacre. It’s not a war; it’s a one-sided slaughter. Israel has turned Gaza into a hellhole—no water, no food, no electricity, no medicine, relentless bombing of a defenseless population. And all under the fraudulent pretext of ‘self-defense.’ This isn’t self-defense; it’s a textbook case of genocide in the making, cheered on by the so-called civilized world.”

Norman Finkelstein Interview on The Grayzone (October 2023).

“What Israel is doing in Gaza is not ‘self-defense’—it’s a brutal, criminal assault on a trapped population with nowhere to flee. Cutting off food, water, and medicine to 2 million people, half of them children, is a monstrous war crime. The U.S. provides the bombs, the diplomatic cover, and the moral hypocrisy to enable it. This is not a war; it’s a massacre.”

Noam Chomsky Interview on Democracy Now! (October 2023).

🎓Learning doesn’t end after the first class - Alumni are Always Welcome!

We’re not a one-stop shop—our doors stay open for every student continuing their journey.

This week, .crn returned from Belgium for an advanced course focused on production-oriented fabrication and machine mastery, refining the skills needed to bring his latest bicycle design to life.

Whether it’s a second course, a skill boost, or just a creative pitstop, we’re always happy to see familiar faces return.

Often, people come to us after spending a few days or a week with a framebuilder who, while perhaps skilled at making frames, lacks the experience and training to teach the fundamentals effectively.

One thing is knowing how to build a frame; quite another is knowing how to teach it — a method we have carefully developed over nearly ten years. We know for a fact that this “watch and learn” style of learning only scratches the surface. It’s not the same to show someone how to make a frame as it is to teach them. The former only covers the superficial aspects of framebuilding, while the latter reveals the fundamentals — the whys behind every step.

If you’re going to make the same type of bike over and over, learning — for example — how brass interacts with a particular steel alloy might not seem very useful. But everything changes when you decide to stray from the norm or step out of your comfort zone.

What happens to the structure when you change the thickness of your seatstay? What happens when you drill a huge hole in your left chainstay to braze a flat mount boss?

A new standard comes along in a different material — are you really going to walk blindly into it just because a customer demands it?

We don’t do “watch and learn.” We explain everything we can — and if there’s something we don’t know, we’ll just say it.
