Mattawan Spain Trip 2018

That’s a wrap...Spain trip 2018 was an absolute blast! So thankful for this amazing group of girls and the life long memories that were made! 🇪🇸

Can’t believe it was our last day in Spain! We toured the royal palace and went to Toledo to tour the oldest cathedral in Europe. We had our last group dinner in Madrid and gave our awesome tour director, Marta, a bracelet to match ours! Fue un viaje para recordar para siempre y somos amigas para siempre! Adios España 🇪🇸 ✌🏼😢

Arrived in Madrid today! We explored the city and the Prado Museum!

Graduation day!!👩‍🎓 We also visited and played games with local kids and then took flamenco lessons and watched a flamenco show tonight during dinner. Our last night it Málaga was well spent!

Today we explored the city of Nerja! They have the largest caves in Europe and one of the most beautiful views of the ocean! And of course we enjoyed another great dinner full of laughs!

Had a beautiful lunch with locals at their family owned olive field and farm house. Also spent the day enjoying siesta time and free time!

So much laughter and memories made today! After school and a market challenge we had some beach time and then cooking classes! Paella and tortilla española on the menu!

First day of school! Practiced with the art theme, went to a workshop, and toured the Pablo Picasso museum!

Today we explored the beautiful city of Granada! Our bus broke down but it didn’t put a damper on our day! We tried more authentic Spanish foods and ended our night en la playa 🏖 we were also complimented on our Spanish speaking skills! ¡Estas chicas son las leches! (These girls are the coolest!)

Ended our day with a ferris wheel ride, some shopping, and gelato!

We have arrived! Ready to eat, have our siesta, and explore Málaga!
