Story time, under the palms! 🌴📚✨

Who says learning has to happen inside four walls? At our Barefoot School Summer Camp, we take advantage of the sunny Madrid days to bring English storytelling out into the fresh air.

Sitting together on woven blankets under the shade, our campers get fully immersed in captivating picture books, expressive narration, and interactive discussions. Outdoor story circles build vocabulary, spark big imaginations, and turn language comprehension into a shared, joyful experience.

Learning English in the summer should always feel like an adventure! ☀️🌿

Meet Princess Nayana and her pet balloon dog, Rudolf! 👑🐶🎈

In our immersion classrooms, crafts aren’t just art projects—they are the stages for spontaneous, creative storytelling. When kids build their own mini cardboard houses or popsicle-stick Ferris wheels, they aren’t just crafting; they are creating their own worlds.

By using these physical props, students naturally practice dialogue, descriptive vocabulary, and conversational structures without feeling like they are “studying.” Instead of memorizing grammar sheets, they are busy deciding where Princess Neena lives and what Rudolf’s favorite numbers are!

Active imagination breeds effortless fluency. 🚀🎨

Who remembers making these? 🙋‍♂️✨

Gamifying the language classroom is one of our favorite ways to get students producing natural spoken English without the pressure.

Using classic paper fortune tellers (or “comecocos”) adds a physical, hands-on layer to vocabulary reviews and question drills. When kids are focused on the mechanics of the game and anticipating the outcome, their speaking blocks completely disappear, and language flow becomes instinctive. 🎲🧠

Immersion works best when it’s tactile, dynamic, and genuinely fun! 🎒💡

History lessons come alive when you add a little creativity (and a very cute classroom assistant)! 🐹👑🇪🇬

Our immersion classes aren’t about memorizing dates from dusty textbooks. Instead, we use hands-on craft projects, interactive storytelling, and a bit of drama—like this student-faced Egyptian puppet interacting with our favorite school pet—to build strong language skills.

When kids actively participate in creating characters and narratives, their vocabulary expands naturally, and their conversational confidence sky-rockets.

Learning English is an adventure when it’s project-based! ✨🎒
