Wishing all the children (young and old) a very Happy Christmas!!!
We are delighted to share with you a lovely poem one of our Hub Managers wrote about Christmas
For Children who have Nothing at Christmas, by Marlene Mitchell
‘If only……………..’
In a hurry to go at Christmas
Santa forgot his sleigh
And he had no parcels or presents
To deliver on Christmas Day.
So he took icicles and sunbeams,
Moonstones and frosted rice,
Cranberries and cinnamon,
Lemons and festive spice.
He packed them all in stockings
That glittered with gossamer thread
And placed them with love and happiness
At the end of everyone’s bed.
And children awoke in the morning
To a magical world that shone
And the world continued shining
Long after Santa had gone.
