At emzingo and emzingo|u, we design programs that connect people, business, and impact through real-world challenges - both in-person and remotely.
We create leadership experiences for students in collaboration with universities, organizations, and local communities around the world, including programs such as NexGen, Global Impact Fellowship (GIF), Global Impact Internship (GII) and Impact Lab.
We work with organizations to design innovation workshops, leadership programs, and impact-driven experiences that help tackle complex social and business challenges.
Whether it’s bringing together changemakers developing community-based projects across Peru, Kenya, and Madagascar, or helping students work directly with local organizations in the field, our goal remains the same:
to connect learning with real-world impact.

We have launched the Emzingo blog.
This is the first of many conversations we will be sharing around leadership, social impact, and learning under real conditions.
Our first post explores intercultural communication through the Changemakers Program, where participants from Kenya, Madagascar, and Peru spent six months working on real challenges within their own communities, while learning how to collaborate across different languages and cultures.

Tiracu Valley, Peru.
A week spent moving between ecosystems, conversations, workshops, and fieldwork.
Working alongside Naturaleza, students explored local approaches to sustainability and regenerative practices like biochar as solutions shaped by the realities of the community itself.
The work happened in classrooms, forests, rivers, and around shared tables.
Live. Learn. Lead.

What happens when 29 social entrepreneurs from Kenya, Madagascar, and Peru are brought into the same room, without a common language, but with a common purpose?
Our first blog post explores intercultural communication through the Changemakers Program with moments where communication slowed down, assumptions were challenged, and understanding had to be built intentionally.

A week in Madrid with one of our U.S. university partners.
Company visits and workshops at businesses such as getting insights from industry experts and learning through applying.
Because understanding how companies happens by being there, asking questions, testing ideas, and seeing how things actually run.
And that also means understanding the context around them: how people interact, how conversations happen, how culture shapes the way business is done.
That’s why the week goes beyond the workplace: shared tapas, a flamenco class, moments across the city that give a clearer picture of where you are and who you’re working with.
Learning by doing.
