From Madrid to Silicon Valley 🌉✨What does it really mean to learn at the heart of innovation?

For our MSc in Digital Project Management and MSc in Marketing & Digital Media students, the 2026 International Seminar in San Francisco and Silicon Valley was designed as more than an academic trip, it was a hands-on immersion into how innovation actually happens.

Over an intensive week, students didn’t just study trends, they engaged with them directly in :

• Exploring how and big data are reshaping marketing and business decision-making
• Analysing the importance of ethics in artificial intelligence
• Understanding startup dynamics through pitches and exchanges with founders
• Gaining insights into venture capital and innovation ecosystems 💡
• Visiting leading innovation environments such as Plug and Play Tech Center, Salesforce Tower, Stanford University and UC Berkeley
• Learning from industry experts through keynotes, case studies and collaborative sessions

But beyond the content, the real impact lies in the transformation:

• Developing the ability to navigate fast-changing, tech-driven environments
• Building a global network across peers, founders and industry experts
• Strengthening critical thinking through real-world exposure and group debriefs
• Gaining the confidence to translate innovation into actionable business strategies

This is what experiential learning looks like at ESCP, where knowledge is not only acquired, but applied.

A special thank you to our academic teams for making this experience possible, both on the ground in San Francisco and supporting the programme from Madrid 👏

MSc in Digital Project Management: Petros Chamakiotis, Natalia ANDIA CALVO, Lydia Ortiz Ruiz, & Javier Barbero Garcia

MSc in Marketing & Digital Media: Vladyimir Melnyk, Isabel Guijosa de la Fuente, & Irene Alonso

And a special thank you as well to our partners on the ground in San Francisco, Ramp-Up Lab, for designing and delivering a programme that truly connects academic learning with real-world innovation.

Game on, on and off the field 🏉

As one of the sponsors of Osos del Pardo Rugby Club since September 2025, ESCP Business School is proud to support this growing team and strengthen the connection between student life and local sports in Madrid.

Throughout the season, 15–20 ESCP students from across programmes (Bachelor in Management and MScs) have been part of the team, embracing the spirit of rugby: commitment, resilience and teamwork—while having a great time along the way.

Competing in Segunda Regional, Osos del Pardo is a young and growing club, and we’re excited to see this collaboration continue to develop both on and off the pitch.

Because at ESCP, learning also happens beyond the classroom.

A few weeks ago, our MSc in Hospitality & Tourism Management students had the opportunity to step into the world of luxury spirits through an exclusive masterclass with The Macallan, organised by the ESCP Hospitality Club. From the very beginning, the experience set the tone: guests accessed the venue through a hidden passage leading to a discreet speakeasy, creating an atmosphere that was both immersive and unforgettable.

During the session, students explored The Macallan 12, 15 and 18-year-old whiskies, discovering how ageing shapes aromas, textures and complexity. Beyond tasting, the masterclass offered valuable insights into brand positioning—showing how a globally recognised product like whisky can be elevated into a true luxury experience.

As Msc student Jules Lesoin shared:
“It was an enriching experience that allowed us to discover a different side of the hospitality and spirits industry.”

Experiences like this are at the heart of ESCP: connecting academic learning with real-world industry exposure, and bringing our students closer to the standards of excellence that define global hospitality.

Where talent meets opportunity.

On 25 February, ESCP’s Madrid campus hosted its Career Fair, bringing together 300 students and 31 leading companies for a day dedicated to connection, ambition and professional growth.

From global leaders such as LVMH, BNP Paribas, BBVA, Jefferies, L.E.K. Consulting, Celonis, SAS, Diageo, Pernod Ricard and Glovo, to fast-growing innovators across sectors, the event reflected the diversity and strength of ESCP’s corporate network.

Beyond the numbers, what truly stood out was the exceptional level of engagement — praised by participating companies for the professionalism of our students and the quality of the organisation.

The event was further strengthened by the presence of colleagues from the Paris Career Services team, highlighting the collaborative spirit that unites our European campuses.

At ESCP, career development is not a moment — it is a continuous journey supported by strong corporate partnerships and a united community.

It all starts here.
