Over the Moon is starting strong in 2019! For our third consecutive year at CEIP Celia Viñas, Fuenlabrada, Madrid, we took a Yoga Journey to the zoo with the pre-schoolers and did Mindfulness with the 1st through 6th graders. Our first ever Mindfulness workshop centered around the 5 senses (our anchor in the present moment along with the breath) and the 4 basic emotions. Gracias a todos l@s alumn@s y l@s profesores por unos talleres muy divertidos. A lo largo del año hemos podido compartir, enseñar y aprender de todos los alumnos del cole, terminando con los más pequeñ@s.
Thanks to all the students and teachers for such fun Yoga workshops. Over the course of the year, we have shared, taught and learned from all the students in the school, ending recently with the youngest children.

It was a privilege to repeat our Yoga workshop at Celia Viñas this year! We premiered the second workshop in our Yoga adventure series and took students on a Yoga Journey to the sea. We practiced conscious breathing like whales, did many poses of underwater animal life, and played a game with the "surfer" pose series. (I took creative freedom and renamed the warrior pose, surfer pose for this exercise.) So nice to see familiar faces and get feedback from students who were doing Yoga with us for a second time! Thanks so much everyone! See you next year!
Era un privilegio poder repetir el taller de Yoga este año con los niños del CEIP Celia Viñas! Hemos estrenado el segundo taller en nuestra serie de Yoga Adventures y les llevamos a los niños en un Yoga viaje al mar. Practicamos un ejercicio de la respiración consciente, inspirado por las ballenas que respiran así, hicimos muchas posturas de animales marítimos y jugamos un juego con la serie de posturas del "surfista", (he tomado la libertad en renombrar el guerrero clásico para encajar en el temático del taller). Fue un placer ver a muchas caras familiares y recibir el feedback de los alumnos que repetían el taller con nosotros por segunda vez. ¡Mil gracias a todos! Os veremos el año que viene.

Gracias a todos los alumnos y los profesores Yoguis del CEIP Los Olivos en Las Rozas, Madrid. ¡Lo hemos pasado super bien con vosotros de excursión en el Bosque Yoga! Para nosotros, es un auténtico viaje presentar el Yoga a los niños de 3 a 12 años y poder experimentarlo a través de ellos. ¡Que regalazo!
Thanks to all the Yogi students and teachers at Los Olivos elementary school in Las Rozas, Madrid. We had a fantastic time on our excursion to the Yoga Forest. For us, the true journey is introducing Yoga to children between 3 and 12 years old, and experiencing it from their pespective. What a gift!

Gracias a tod@s los alumnos y profes tan amables del CEIP Fuente Santa, Colmenar Viejo, Madrid. Lo hemos pasado genial toda la semana en el taller de Yoga con vosotros, ¡27 sesiones en total de 4 añitos a sexto de primaria! (¡Somos tod@s guerrer@s yoguis aquí, jugando mi juego con la serie de posturas del guerrero!)
Thanks to all the super friendly students and teachers at Fuente Santa Elementary in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid. We had a wonderful time in our 27 sessions this week doing Yoga with all the classes of 4 year-olds through sixth grade! (We are all warrior yoguis here, playing my game with the warrior pose series.)

Tuvimos la suerte este fin de semana pasada de poder practicar un poquito de Yoga y relajación al aire libre con este grupo de niños preciosos en Gélida, Barcelona. We got lucky this past weekend and were able to practice a bit of Yoga and relaxation outdoors with this group of lovely little ones in Gelida, Barcelona!
