International College Spain (ICS) Madrid

International College Spain is an international community school that is committed to giving every child an authentic global learning experience.

The School was founded in 1980 by the late entrepreneur and philanthropist, Manouchehr Farhangi, and has grown to become one of the leading international schools in Spain offering three IB programmes in English. We are accredited and evaluated by the International Baccalaureate Organisation, NEASC, CIS, the Spanish Ministry of Education and our governing body, Nord Anglia Education. The ICS campus

is located just 10 minutes north of Madrid in a safe, gated community suburb called La Moraleja. Our students come to us from over 70 different nations. They receive an authentic international experience within a diverse student community, from educators who have truly international expertise. The school is part of the global group Nord Anglia Education which brings a variety of advantages and enables us to collaborate with other students, teachers and schools within the group as well as with prestigious institutions like Juilliard and MIT. From the Tanzania Expedition to the UNICEF Global Challenge projects; all Nord Anglia Education schools and their students can learn with and from others within the group via an online virtual learning platform called Global Campus. For over 40 years, ICS has had a long and proud tradition of supporting community projects across the world, making a proactive and positive difference to the lives of others. Strong service elements are an essential part of the IB curriculum promoting opportunities for students to become active and caring members of local, national and global communities. Our wide range of extra-curricular activities also contribute to the learning success, social skills and productivity of our students and provide advantages for university applications. For the past few years ICS is very proud of the academic achievements of our IB Diploma students with 100% pass rates and scores over the world averages. The IB Diploma is a passport for entry to the world’s best universities where many have. and are attending ivy-league and top ranked universities worldwide.

Looking back on an unforgettable school year 💙

One day, our students may forget the details of a lesson, but they'll remember how they felt. They'll remember the people beside them, the places they explored, the stages they stood on, the goals they celebrated, and the moments that made them smile.

These are just a few of the memories we'll be looking back on this summer, and the ones we'll carry with us into the next school year.

Big changes are happening this summer 🚧 We're refurbishing over 1,200m² of our Secondary building to create new spaces for learning and collaboration, all focused on the wellbeing of our students.

Amongst other things, we are creating a brand new Student Hub, two outdoor terraces and five group work rooms, all designed to support the wellbeing of our students.

We can't wait to share the transformation with our community!
