Big news! 📢 IE University has acquired the historic Palacio de Mansilla in Segovia—soon to be home to IE School of Architecture and Design’s Creative Campus.

Spanning over 5,000 m², this space will be a hub for creativity and innovation, inspiring the next generation of change-makers with state of the art facilities.

The intersection of craft and technology took center stage at the Segovia!

David Goodman, Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design, facilitated an engaging conversation about “Tradition and Innovation: Craftsmanship and Technology in Design”, which explored the relationship between tradition and innovation in design, focusing on how modern tools enhance craftsmanship and preserve heritage. With guests Simoneta Gómez-Acebo, Belén Llamas Ferrier and Miguel Leiro. We thank all participants for their valuable contributions to this important discussion.

Congratulations to Bárbara Hernández Gaitán, a 2024 graduate of our Bachelor in Design, for having her project "You belong here" featured in Dutch Design Week!

Bárbara’s project tackles the complexities of unwanted loneliness in urban settings, using a guided workshop to explore how we can engage with spaces, objects, and each other in “unproductive” ways to address feelings of isolation and foster a sense of belonging.

We are incredibly proud to see our talented student making a mark on the global stage!

We are thrilled to share with you that IE University has become the sole member of an independent college in SoHo: an institution with a focus on business and sustainability which will be renamed IE New York College (IENYC) upon accreditation approval.

IE University replaced Glasgow Caledonian University as the sole member of Glasgow Caledonian New York College (GCNYC) located in historic SoHo. With this replacement, IE University becomes custodian of a state-of-the-art college with master’s programs centered on sustainable business.
