MBA enters the Finance Battleground at the CFA Research Challenge 2014

The MBA program at UC3M has taken a big leap this year with a team of MBA students being selected for the final of this year´s CFA Research Challenge competition against 15 other teams of Masters in Finance from Top Universities and Business Schools across Spain. Out of 16 teams who participated in this prestigious finance Challenge, 6 were selected to present their project at the Spanish Finals at Bolsa de Madrid on 6th March 2014.

The teams had to prepare an equity research project during the period November to February. The group was tutored by former CFA Research Champions João Almeida & Marta Santos Calvario with important additional inputs from the faculty. The group consists of 5 people from the MBA class of 2013-2014: Alexandra Mester from Austria, Shrestha Das from India, Alan Colpaert Lopes from Brazil, Meir Rabkin from Canada & Ronald Oswald Rios Espinoza from Peru.
