A new reason to explore the Veneto beyond its famous cities 🌿🎨

Teolo Arte Natura inaugurated its new art-nature trail in the Euganean Hills in July 2026. It’s an itinerary where contemporary art becomes part of the landscape.

The trail winds through the woods, clearings and paths of Parco delle Fiorine, near the small town of Teolo. Along the way, eight site-specific installations invite visitors to slow down and see the landscape differently, exploring themes such as nature, memory, community and our relationship with the environment.

The artworks were created in dialogue with the park: trees, grass, stones, water, light and even the sounds of the landscape all become part of the experience.

📍 Where is Teolo? In the Euganean Hills, roughly halfway between Verona and Venice — two cities where you can study Italian with Studiainitalia. It’s exactly the kind of place you can add to your study abroad experience when you want to step away from the usual tourist routes and discover another side of Italy!

The artists and creatives behind the eight installations are:

— Io Sono
& — Aquaeborg — Isole Unite
— Ricoprire d'erba il corpo
— Sonocolo
— Labirinto dei Destini Incrociati
Scuola Villa Del Bosco di San Biagio, Teolo — Villaggio di Passaggio
Inoghi Studio — Kairos

Would you add this art-nature trail to your Italian itinerary?

Italian lessons and Motor Valley adventures 🏎️

Our students in Modena are experiencing Italian well beyond the classroom: learning the language, exploring the city and getting closer to one of the passions that has made this part of Italy famous around the world.

Modena sits at the heart of Italy’s Motor Valley, the land of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Pagani. But there’s much more to the city than supercars: a UNESCO-listed historic centre, traditional balsamic vinegar, incredible cuisine and a strong connection to music — including legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti.

It’s the perfect place to combine language learning with a passion for Italian design, engineering, food and culture.

Want to experience it yourself? Read more about our Italian Language & Supercar Experience in Modena on the Studiainitalia blog https://www.studiainitalia.com/en/blog/learn-italian-in-modena-super-car/

From Norway to Florence, Izabela traded her daily routine for sandpaper, gesso, and gold leaf.

Here she is in action during her Gilding Course, carefully preparing a wooden surface before applying the traditional Italian techniques that have illuminated Florence’s artwork for centuries.

Our Gilding & Restoration courses in the heart of Florence are entirely practical, taking place in small artisan workshops. Taught in English or Italian by professionals who collaborate with top institutions like the Uffizi Gallery, you’ll learn directly from the experts—no formal entry requirements or exams needed.

Corner of wonder of the month: Sacra di San Michele ⚔️

Perched on the rocky peak of Mount Pirchiriano, this ancient abbey seems to hang between the clouds and the Alps.

Built over a thousand years ago, the Sacra di San Michele is one of the most imposing medieval sanctuaries in Europe—and is often cited as an inspiration for Umberto Eco’s novel The Name of the Rose.

As you climb the steep ""Stairway of the Dead"" to reach the church, you’re rewarded with sweeping views over the Susa Valley.

Sacra di San Michele also belongs to the legendary “Sacred Line of Saint Michael,” a symbolic alignment of seven sanctuaries stretching from Ireland to Israel.

📍 Just under an hour by car from Turin, and easy to reach by bus or train, it’s an unforgettable day trip into history, mystery, and dramatic Alpine landscapes.

From Portugal to Florence, Daniel decided it was time to get closer to the masterpieces he loves—not behind a museum barrier, but right where the magic happens.

During the course, he learned how to give new life to an old oil painting, step by step, side by side with his maestro.

Our oil painting restoration courses in Italy are not held in a standard school, but directly in the restorer’s workshop.

Why? Because the bottega is the most advisable place for quick, practical, and immersive learning—even if you're a complete beginner. It’s a space where you learn rapidly, guided at every single step, right in the heart of Florence’s historic center. 🎨

Italy isn't just a country of museums and monuments—it's also a country of songs.

From North to South, from opera legends to beloved singer-songwriters, many Italian cities celebrate their musical heritage with statues that have become landmarks in their own right.

They tell stories of artists, places, and songs that continue to shape Italian culture today.

🎵 Which Italian musician would you most like to discover?

Different countries, different stories, different reasons for coming to Florence.

Yet they all found themselves walking the same streets, learning new skills, sharing coffees between classes, and experiencing a city where art, craftsmanship, and culture are part of everyday life.

Some came to work with their hands.
Some came to learn a language.
Some came searching for inspiration.

Florence has a way of bringing all those journeys together.

Which course would you choose?
