TEACH-PHEN project presented at IeTIC International Conference – 19-20 February 2026, Madrid, Spain
On 19th and 20th of February, 2026, in Madrid, Spain, the International Annual International Conference IeTIC 2026 was held. More than 100 participants from Europe and all over the world have participated. The TEACH-PHEN project consortium was represented by prof. PhD Cristina Sanchez Romero, UNED and by Ms. Carmen Gutiez Cuevas and prof. PhD Pilar Gutiez Cuevas from ASOCIACIÓN MADRILEÑA DE PROFESIONALES DE LA ATENCIÓN TEMPRANA, Madrid, Spain and Mr. Andrean Lazarov from Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team.

TEACH-PHEN project demonstrated at the cluster conference of the Erasmus+ national agencies of Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of North Macedonia – 26 March 2026, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
On 25th and 26th of March 2026, the Erasmus+ National Agencies of Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of North Macedonia organised an International conference dedicated to the Inclusion and Diversity. The project consortium was represented by the Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team, who presented the framework and the overall concept of the TEACH-PHEN project including R1. Teachers’ supportive handbook on phenomenon based learning concept combining science, geography, mathematics, history. The event was an important opportunity to gather at earlier stage of the project feedback by teachers, psychologists, special educators and policy makers from those two countries

Important presentation of the TEACH-PHEN project during Spanish National seminar “Improvement of digitalisation competences of recent and future teachers by development of advanced training on instructional design of digital training” 9th of April 2026 in Madrid, Spain
The project was presented during the Spanish National seminar “Improvement of digitalisation competences of recent and future teachers by development of advanced training on instructional design of digital training”, which was held on 9th of April 2026 in Madrid, Spain.
The project partnership was represented by prof. PhD Cristina Sanchez Romero from UNED, Prof. PhD Pilar Gutiez Cuevas from ASOCIACIÓN MADRILEÑA DE PROFESIONALES DE LA ATENCIÓN TEMPRANA, Spain and Andrean Lazarov and Stanislav Georgiev from Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team. They have presented the phenomenon-based learning concept; The Handbook for teachers as well as the practical implementation of this unique approach. The event extended the stakeholders community with professionals in the field of Universal design for learning, Web accessibility and Artificial intelligence.

Participation at the ICASF – 3rd International Conference on Advanced Sustainable Futures – 10-11 December 2025, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Prof. PhD Dora Levterova-Gadjalova – the TEACH-PHEN’s project coordinator together with Andrean Lazarov – CEO of Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team (project partner) gave a speech during the 3rd ICASF International Conference on Advanced Sustainable Futures.
The event was held on 10th and 11th December 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE and allows also online presentation. Our representatives presented the full version of R1. Teachers’ supportive handbook on phenomenon based learning concept combining science, geography, mathematics, history as well as the framework of R2.Online supportive course including self-assessment mechanism on green competences acquisition with regards to climate change via phenomenon based learning for students with mild disabilities. In that way, we have extended our dissemination network beyond the European union.
At the beginning of 2026, our publication will be made available on Scopus.

Promotion of the project during the INVEST European alliance winter school on “Diversity and inclusion” – 01-05 December 2025, Plovdiv, Bulgaria
The project concept and result R1. Teachers’ supportive handbook on phenomenon based learning concept combining science, geography, mathematics, history were presented during the winter school on the topic “Inclusion and Diversity” as part of the European University Alliance “INVEST”. It was presented by the team of Karelia UAS (project partner).
Students from pedagogical faculties (future teachers) from Slovak Republic, Greece, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Finland and France have learnt about the methodology behind the project and they will take part in the Community of practice once the project results are available.

Presentation and dissemination of the project during International scientific conference “Leadership and Organisational development”, Sofia, Bulgaria
The project results were promoted during the International scientific conference on “Leadership an Organisational development”. It was hosted by the biggest university in Bulgaria – the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohdridski”.
The project consortium was represented by prof. PhD Dora Levterova-Gadjalova – project coordinator on behalf of Plovdiv university “Paisii Hilendarski”, Prof. PhD Cristina Sanchez Romero – local project manager on behalf of UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE EDUCACION A DISTANCIA, Madrid, Spain and Mr. Andrean Lazarov – CEO of the Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team. They have participated in different panels of the conference, where they have introduced different components of the project realisation including promotion of R1. Teachers’ supportive handbook on phenomenon based learning concept combining science, geography, mathematics, history, R2.Online supportive course including self-assessment mechanism on green competences acquisition with regards to climate change via phenomenon based learning for students with mild disabilities and R3. E-learning platform to facilitate distance learning process via phenomenon based learning. With this event, we have extended the members in the Community of practice among recent and future teachers.

Promotion of the project handbook during EMPLOGAME Final Multiplier Event – 27 October 2025, Madrid, Spain
Representatives on behalf of the Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team and UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL DE EDUCACION A DISTANCIA, Madrid, Spain have participated as keynote speakers during the Final Multiplier Event under the EMPLOGAME project. They have been able to demonstrate the first finalised project results – R1. Teachers’ supportive handbook on phenomenon based learning concept combining science, geography, mathematics, history. More than 90 teachers were able to receive guidance and information on application of phenomenon-based learning approach as well as we have extended the project Community of practice. Participants expressed their interest to join the pilot implementation phase of the project, which will start from January 2026.

Promotion of the project during EAIE Gothenburg 2025 by BIST and Karelia UAS teams
The project teams of Bulgarian Inclusion Support Team and Karelia University of Applied Sciences promoted the TEACH-PHEN project during networking sessions, individual talks and workshops at the 35th Annual International Conference and Fair – EAIE 2025 organised by the European Association for International Education. The event was held in the period 9-12 September 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden, where more than 7000 educational professionals and students from all over the world have participated.
We were able to extend the dissemination and promotion of the project to an international level during series of individual meetings with rectors, vice-rectors and directors of international offices of universities from Abu Dhabbi, Qatar, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, China. The interest towards the phenomenon-based learning approach and the produced already handbook for educators was significant. Thanks to that, the partners received new invitations to speak at international events.

Bulgarian Teachers’ Union presented the project during a seminar “Extracurricular and extracurricular activities (interest activities) – 28 August 2025
On 28 August 2025, in the Albena resort complex, Doctor of Economics Yanka Takeva presented the concept of the project to primary teachers participating in a seminar “Extracurricular and extracurricular activities (interest activities) – for sustainable quality education, upbringing and development of children and students” on the topic: “Development of social skills and emotional intelligence in extracurricular and extracurricular activities”.

Another teachers’ training on Project handbook for phenomenon-based learning application has been conducted – 04 August 2025
On 04.08.2025, teachers studying at The Permanent Academy for Science and Innovation in Education at the SBU in the town of Hissarya were introduced to the goals and activities of the project. They registered on the project website, and I got acquainted with the modules from the Project handbook, which added the beginning of the ” Design of Digital Learning ” training for the project.
