Beautiful weather in Madrid! What a great time to visit our Madrid campus to teach the students across all years and to hear how they are settling in to our new expanded premises. Also an opportunity to drop in to the new clinic and say hello to clinic interns and clinic supervisors. Such a lovely vibrant atmosphere - perhaps the weather helps!

Madrid field trip! Time for our Master of Chiropractic students to visit the Cadaver lab of the Complutense University in central Madrid. This is an amazing opportunity for them, to not only engage with this top University, but also to gain an important perspective on human anatomy which is fundamental to their studies.

Neurology is fun! Having learned the theory, here our Year 2 Hong Kong students are enjoying practising neurological examination with our senior lecturer visiting from the UK Dan Ruby. Dan teaches this subject at all of our locations, ensuring equivalency of learning and student experience.

Last week, we had the joy of participating in the Fórmate fair in Granada, Spain, where we shared insights into chiropractic- its science, art and philosophy. We had the opportunity to explain to those interested in helping others how to improve their quality of life through chiropractic. 🥳

We also took the opportunity to promote our Official Degree in Chiropractic in Madrid and highlight our campuses in the UK and Hong Kong.

Exciting news! 🎉 McTimoney College of Chiropractic Madrid has officially received approval from the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) for its Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) programme. We're also proud to be the only college in Europe with dual accreditation from both the GCC and the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE).

This recognition opens incredible opportunities for students across Europe, offering a pathway to UK professional registration.

Abingdon summer school! What a fantastic weekend everyone had, not only learning together but also reconnecting and enjoying each other's company. It was also great to welcome some of our Madrid students who came across to sharing the experience, and as part of the deal brought some nice weather with them!

Successful Madrid ECCE Accreditation! The McTimoney College of Chiropractic is pleased to announce that the MChiro programme delivered at our Madrid campus has now joined our Oxford and Manchester campuses by being accredited by the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE). Importantly, this is the first time the ECCE have accredited a programme prior to the graduation of the first cohort.
The College team is delighted with the Commendations of the panel: including the political strategy to help develop the chiropractic profession in Spain through delivering quality chiropractic education; the strong relationship between the Madrid campus and the Spanish Chiropractic Association; our student centredness and support in delivering chiropractic education; and the enthusiasm of staff and students to start and develop a new campus together.
Thanks to the entire team - staff and students - in bringing this recognition home, and thanks also to the Panel for recognising the importance of this venture and our commitment to quality chiropractic education.
