One of the most common mistakes I come across is with "bored" and "boring".
This comes down to the -ed/-ing suffix.
-ed is related to our feelings/emotions
-ing is related to characteristics
We can create a sentence using both forms to see the difference.
Can you make more sentences using both adjectives?

Accuracy Vs fluency.
Fluency refers to how well you are able to communicate in a language.
While accuracy refers to you ability to use the grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary correctly.
They are arguably both as important as each other.
However, one may carry more importance depending on your own needs. Accuracy may be more important for those requiring English for academic purposes, whereas those who want English to travel may prefer to speak fluently and care less about their mistakes.
For example, for me, living in Spain, fluency is much more important than accuracy.
Which one is more important to you?

One technique you can use to avoid beginning a sentence with a subject is to use an adverb.
In formal writing, moving an adverb to the beginning of the sentence serves to vary the rhythm of a paragraph and increase sentence variety.
Just don't forget to put a comma immediately after the adverb.
Some examples are:
Interestingly,...
Unfortunately,...
Suddenly,...
Funnily enough,...(idiomatic expression)
Can you start a sentence with an adverb?

This time let's take a look at part one of the Reading and Use of English paper.
Here you'll find eight questions based on a text. It is multiple choice with four options to choose from.
Be careful as the options are often synonyms or closely related so you need be comfortable with a range of collocations. Be sure to pay attention to word before and after the gap and see which word fits the gap best.

Cambridge exam challenge time.
Part two of the Reading and Use of English paper is gap filling exercise.
It is considerably harder than part one as it is not multiple choice.
Therefore, it is essential that you are familiar with all the different parts of speech; verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, auxiliary verbs, pronouns, articles and so on.
Get familiar with these parts of speech and you'll increase your chance of having success in this part.
Remember to only use one word in each gap, however, it is possible for few "synonyms" to fit.
Make sure you read to the end of text first to get a general idea of what it is about, and always start with the "easiest" first.
Finally, pay attention to the words that come before and after the gap and any punctuation that appears.
Have a go at these two examples. The level is probably more C1 than B2.
Good luck!

Cambridge exam challenge:
Use of English part four.
This part always proves to be quite challenging as it tests your ability to rephrase a sentence, requiring a deep understanding of grammatical structures and vocabulary.
This one is particularly difficult as you need to know the phrasal verb "to see sb off"
This means to go with someone to their departure place in order to say goodbye.
Were you able to do this one???
