⚽🇪🇸 The stage is set! Spain 🇪🇸 vs Argentina 🇦🇷 this Sunday.

Twenty years ago, a young Lionel Messi took part in a charity calendar photoshoot where he was photographed bathing a 6-month-old Lamine Yamal. At the time, no one could have imagined that one would become a football legend—and the other one of the brightest young stars in the game. ✨

Now, football gives us another unforgettable story as Spain and Argentina meet in the final. What an incredible full-circle moment!

We’ll be cheering for La Roja this Sunday! ❤️💛❤️ May the best team win, and may football be the real winner. ⚽🙌

Today, our Climate Change Summer School students explored some of Madrid’s most iconic landmarks, discovering how art, history, politics, and sustainability are deeply connected.

🎨 The Prado Museum – where centuries of art invite us to reflect on humanity’s relationship with nature.
🏛️ The Spanish Congress – the place where public policies shaping our future are debated.
🖼️ The Reina Sofía Museum – home to masterpieces that challenge us to think critically about society and change.
🌳 The Landscape of Light – Madrid’s UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape, a remarkable example of how green spaces, science, and culture can coexist in a vibrant city.

At SpaCIE, we believe understanding climate change requires more than scientific knowledge—it also means exploring history, culture, governance, and the communities that shape our world.

🌍☀️ Our Climate Change Summer School has officially begun!

Yesterday we welcomed an incredible group of students from around the world to Madrid. 🌎🤝 After diving into lectures and discussions, they spent the rest of the day getting to know one another, exploring the city, and building friendships that will last far beyond the classroom.

Over the next two weeks, they’ll learn from leading university professors, exchange ideas across cultures, and tackle one of humanity’s greatest challenges through a truly multidisciplinary approach.

Learning starts with curiosity. Great ideas start with conversation. Welcome to the SpaCIE family! 💚
