Say cheese! 📸 Yesterday was picture day on campus, and we captured some of the brightest smiles around! 😄

Our sister campus, Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, was in full swing in their second week of school. In the classroom, students and teachers wasted no time diving into their classes! Over the weekend, many students enjoyed weekend activities, including Kickball. The fall athletics season also started up with the first week of games. The school community also recognized Academic Awards at an All-School for students who earned high averages in the spring trimester.

Although the first week of school was short, it’s been packed with incredible bonding and learning experiences! Students and teachers have been engaging in fun activities and games, building connections, and even tackling challenges like constructing catapults out of popsicle sticks. What an exciting and creative start to the school year!

Yesterday, we hosted our first event of the year—the New and Returning Family Welcome. It was a fantastic gathering where new students had the chance to meet their teachers, and we were all amazed at how much our returning students have grown! It was truly inspiring to witness the growth of our Brewster community, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back to school tomorrow!

At Brewster Madrid, our top priority is finding the best opportunities for our students. Our Director of University Counseling, Phillip Wenturine, is currently in Canada attending a conference on international college counseling. He's meeting with representatives from over 500 universities worldwide, including Stanford, to explore various programs and scholarship opportunities for our Brewster students in Spain. Excitingly, Phillip also bumped into a former alum of Brewster Wolfeboro who was thrilled to spot our table!

Our founding school year has come to an end, but that hasn't stopped us from preparing for our students' arrival in September! This fall, our educational project carries on, bolstered by research and continuously reevaluated to ensure each student's growth and success. The inaugural graduating class of 2024 at Brewster Madrid walked across the stage last night to receive their diplomas and complete the traditional cap-throwing ceremony. These seniors have come so far since beginning their journey with us in September, yet at the same time it feels like time flew by so fast. We are all so proud of their successes and making it to this milestone, and everyone knows their future endeavors will be filled with adventure. To the students and their parents alike, thank you for being a part of the Brewster family.

🎓✨ Our Grade 5 students wrapped up their capstone projects on Friday with an amazing presentation! ✨🎓

The capstone project is designed to apply the skills they've learned in Lower School, demonstrate Brewster values, and understand their role in the global community. As global citizens, they aimed to inform others about issues they are passionate about and inspire action. To culminate their hard work, Grade 5 presented their projects to students from Lower, Middle, and Upper School, as well as faculty and families. We couldn't be prouder of their dedication and effort! 👏🌍
