The TEFL Centre

'The TEFL Centre' is the natural result of many years of in-house teacher training in the academy 'New English Centre'.

Our courses, which meet the highest industry standards, are accredited by a long established recognised UK-based body, Accreditat, and in many ways offers even more than our competitors in services and support. After establishing a respected name for the quality of our teaching services over the last 25 years, largely as the cummulative result of the weekly teacher training offered to staff, we now wish to capitalise on this experience and offer full training courses. Aware of the prices asked by the main TEFL brand names, we believe a much more economical service is feasible and wish to make high quality TEFL training available at a more accessable price. We also promote experimentation with new techniques and encourage all our learners to 'keep it fresh' by ensuring that they are continually reinventing themselves and open to input from colleagues. We hope that a trainee starting out in TEFL will hugely benefit from this kind of philosophy and initial influence, and in turn go on to inspire others they come into contact with.

22. TEFL classroom presentations: Drilling.

After our teacher trainers have shown our trainee teachers how to present new language and have the students practice it in a written form it is time to turn our attention to the speaking skill. It could be said that so far the students have only "dealt" with the language, but they have hardly spoken it, if at all.

Here we help the TEFL teachers to present the target language (TL) grammar clearly. We suggest the following steps...
