The first-year students of Køge Handelsskole also followed English classes after following Spanish lessons for 2 days. English helps them communicate with us and the entrepreneurs, and it is a skill they can use in everyday life as well.

The first day is all about the kick-off. We start the programme at the language school, and in the afternoon the students visit the entrepreneur for the first time in their project groups. This first meeting is focused on getting to know the company, asking questions, and understanding the assignment.

This bootcamp, the students worked on projects such as social media management, creating content like Instagram and TikTok posts or flyers, and even conducting a competitor analysis.

The first Granada Business Bootcamp of 2026 has come to an end! What a fantastic project it was once again. A city so different from Málaga!

After a successful City Game and a visit to the Alhambra, the students started working on their assignments for the entrepreneurs. Four entrepreneurs, each with a completely different challenge. There were moments of struggle along the way, but the results at the end of the two-week bootcamp were really nice again!

These are just a few quotes from students who participated in the Marbella4DaysWalking bootcamp last year. After the success of the previous edition, we will be organising this unique project again this year!

From September 23 to October 7, 2026, students will come to Marbella to take part in the organisation of a large event: Marbella4DaysWalking. This is an annual walking event with more than 3,000 participants, most of whom come from the Netherlands. Students actively support the organisation behind the scenes, gain hands-on experience in a real-life event environment, and contribute directly to the event.

The programme is complemented by Spanish language classes, cultural activities, and an academic challenge connected to the students’ field of study. The project is open to students from various study programmes, and there is also a possibility for Erasmus+ funding.

Interested in offering this opportunity to your students? Or would you like to participate as a student? Please feel free to contact us as soon as possible. After last year’s success, we are very excited to bring this project to life again with a new group of students!

Did you know this about Granada?
The residents are called Granadinos. Granada has a rich history and was occupied by the Arabs for almost 800 years. Also, the University of Granada is one of the oldest in Spain.

But, one of the most famous examples of this heritage is Alhambra, a stunning palace that overlooks the city and is considered one of the most important historical monuments in Spain.

You will definitely be seeing them this season, because these are our new interns! Who are they and what will they be doing? Get to know our new interns!

Meet our new intern Sara ☀️

“Hi, my name is Sara and I’ll be doing my internship at JongLeren for the next five months. You may have already seen me at meetups or events with other Erasmus students! I study Media and Journalism at Koning Willem I College and will be graduating this year. In my free time I enjoy different dance styles, photography, and other creative activities. During my internship I’ll mainly be working on social media, intakes, and joining internship visits.”

Meet our new intern Matthijs ☀️

“Hola! I’m Matthijs Meersma, 22 years old and originally from Friesland. I study Entrepreneurship & Retail Management at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. In my free time I go to the gym, attend festivals, and I have a season ticket for sc Heerenveen. I’m currently doing my graduation internship at JongLeren. Here I’ll be working on recruiting new companies, guiding project groups during the Málaga Business Bootcamp, and doing internship visits, so who knows, see you soon ;)!”

Meet our new intern Nina ☀️

“Hi! Over the next four months I’ll be doing my internship at JongLeren, helping with everything related to communication, exactly what I study. Writing, brainstorming, creating… I’m really excited. Choosing Málaga was an easy decision: sun, sea, beach, and surfing! 🌊 I also have a soft spot for languages, so alongside my internship I’m working on improving my Spanish. It’s a learning process, but hey, eso es la vida ;) Looking forward to the coming months."

What do students share in their final presentation? This almost always includes: their goals, the results, how they approached the project, and their teamwork. Also, they always use their own creativity in the designs, as you can see in this post💪

The I–I–You method is a communication technique that helps you address irritations, tension or conflict in a calm and clear way, without making the other person feel attacked. Did you ever use this method before?

Before the bootcamp starts, all students complete a preparatory assignment with questions about Spain and their personal goals. By filling in the form thoughtfully, they show something important: preparation matters. And this student was the lucky one!
