Fue una oportunidad increíble para practicar español y experimentar un acento nuevo.
Pasé los días explorando las calles malagueñas, la naturaleza andaluza, y la comida regional 🇪🇸
La cultura andaluza es algo muy especial 🙏

In October 2024 I completed the Lessons From Auschwitz programme with the Holocaust Educational Trust, during which, I visited Auschwitz-Birkenau.

This course focused on individual Jewish stories, giving us the opportunity to speak to Holocaust survivor, Eva Clarke.
I learned a lot about Jewish culture and both historic and current antisemitism, giving me insight for my A Level and onto my undergraduate degree.

In October the next year, I visited Berlin, whilst there I went to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp.
It was very beneficial in learning about the treatment of other peoples under the N**i regime and the following Soviet occupation.

In February 2026 I took a day trip to Alicante ☀️

Here I visited various churches and El Castillo de Santa Bárbara, along with gaining an insight into everyday Spanish life 🇪🇸

In February 2025 I visited Granada for my 18th birthday 🇪🇸🍊

This was a fascinating trip for both language and cultural enrichment. Granada holds a rich history from the period of the coexistence to the inquisition, including the creation of Flamenco 💃 and the hometown of Federico García Lorca!

As someone who is particularly passionate about Andalucían culture, this was a truly special experience 😊

In July 2024 I travelled to México ☀️

Here I enhanced my Spanish, learning about how the language differed 🇲🇽
It was fascinating learning about Mexican and Mayan cultures through visiting sites like a Mayan village, Chichén Itzá, and Valladolid 😊
