⃣HOW TO FIND MOTIVATION?

Our students often tell us that they have lost motivation or don’t have enough 🗣
In the end, they ask us for advice 🙄

In today's post we want to talk about this, about motivation 😃

First, let’s find out what motivation is 🤔

Motivation is an impulse to action, the psychophysiological process that controls the behavior of a person, setting his orientation, organization, activity and stability; the human ability to actively satisfy one’s needs 📃

It sounds like it’s not difficult to get it. But where to get it is not clear 🧐
We will try to resolve this issue 😉

⃣In our opinion, motivation is inspiration
Therefore, the following question arises:

Where to get inspiration? 🤷🏻‍♀ It is only you that can answer this question, as every person has his own source of inspiration 💭

For example, it can be in the usage of the acquired skills. You probably felt an inner joy when, after working hard on yourself, you saw the result 🥇

For example, you increased your vocabulary, then you listen to your favorite artist, and suddenly you notice that you understand what he is trying to say in his song 🎧
You feel that you are on the same wavelength as your idol 🎼

⃣ Motivation is a clearly defined goal!

Ask yourself questions:
Why do I need a foreign language?
How will my life change if I learn it?
What will I get when I reach my goal?

By answering these questions, it will become much easier for you to create your own motivation

⃣ Motivation is undoubtedly having pleasure in the process
We have already mentioned more than once that it is important to transform learning a foreign language into a hobby. Otherwise, even trying hard, you can get burnt out 🌫

Make a foreign language a part of your holiday 🏖
What do you like to do in your free time? 😀

Even sports matches and fun videos on YouTube can be watched in a foreign language! 💻

Do not look for excuses for yourself, do not "feed" your laziness, and then you will succeed! 😊

Bilinguals are people who are fluent in two languages at once and speak both as native 🗣

In real bilinguals, both languages are always in an active state, even if they use only one language 🧠

How do they become bilingual? 🤔

1. In childhood, they move to another country
2. One of the parents is a native speaker of a foreign language

What is the main advantage of bilinguals? 🧐

Lack of emphasis! 🙅🏽‍♂

For them, two languages become completely native, they do not have to translate phrases in their heads 🙅🏻‍♀

In addition, bilinguals are better able to convey their emotions and understand other people 💁🏼‍♂

In a foreign language, phrases are often found that convey a certain state of a person, and it is difficult to translate them into their native language without losing their meaning ✍🏼

A good example is the Russian expression “no, probably” 📃

Only a Russian can understand what it means, it will be difficult for a foreigner to come to the realization that words with the opposite meaning mean giving up something with a bit of regret 🤯

At La Luna, there are native speakers and, of course, bilinguals, working 😉

Guess from the photo: Which of our teachers is bilingual? 😀

HOW DOES THE CONVERSATION CLUB IN LA LUNA WORK?

The conversation club takes place on Fridays and Saturdays and lasts 60-90 minutes ⏰

Why such a spread of time?🤔

1. An important component is the number of people participating in the club, the more people there are, the longer the duration 😉

2. Mood, how can we work without it! 😄

With good mood, an hour and a half will pass unnoticed! ⏳

With bad mood the opposite is true
As we have mentioned many times, we at La Luna are against you forcing yourself to learn the language, so we always help you if you want to finish early
The time of the event is chosen by the students of La Luna ⌚

What happens at a conversation club? 🗣

🔵A1 level students:

Accumulated knowledge for a week is put into practice -

🔹Make suggestions 🔹Participate in simple dialogues
🔹Learn to talk about yourself

🔵Students of level A2 and higher:

🔹Play " El " cocodrilo ("Crocodile") - one person describes an item or thing, all the others guess

Also in the game there is excitement, the first to guess the word, gets some points 👍 🏻

What is the motivation here, you may ask?🧐

We at La Luna are going to introduce a system of discounts and bonuses as soon as possible 💰

Points will be a kind of currency in this future system 💸

🔹Translate interesting phrases from movies

Our students prefer Soviet films 😄

Would you like to attend a conversation club? 😊

Already salivating…

FROM THIS POST!

The word "jamón" in translation means "ham" 📜 🍖

Jamon, this is the Spaniards favorite food, which they eat all year round! 📆

On average, a resident of Spain eats up to 5 kg of jamon per year! 😮

It is most often served with olives, in addition to a glass of red wine 🍷

This combination (jamon + red wine) effectively fights fat deposits on the walls of blood vessels, which is confirmed by the Ministry of Health of Spain 🏥

Jamon, in addition, contains one and a half times more protein than regular meat ☝🏼

Jamon on bread with grated tomatoes and olive oil is also popular 🍞🍅

And the taste of Spanish jamon helps to reveal the fruit! 🤤

Often in restaurants, you can find on the menu a snack called "melon with jamon" 📜

There are even desserts with jamon! 😁

In Spain, ice cream flavored with jamon chips and floral honey is quite popular! 🍦🍯

And you amigos, do you love to feast on jamon? 🥓

Or maybe you have never tried it? 😀

DO YOU KNOW WHY THE SPANISH FLAG LOOKS THAT WAY?

The flag of Spain consists of three stripes🇪🇦: ⠀

Two narrow red stripes are located above and below ⠀
One wide yellow stripe is in the middle ⠀

The center of the flag is decorated with the coat of arms of Spain, which consists of the arms of various Spanish provinces 🗺

What do these colors and coat of arms mean? 🤔

First let's talk about the colors of the flag 🎨

According to legend, the Spanish king of Aragon
wanted to have his own banner 🤴🏽

Considering the various flag options offered to him, he liked the golden fabric flag 👍🏻

He ordered a cup of fresh animal blood to be served to him and ran two fingers along the edge of the golden plate ⚱

In approximately the same form as we know it today, the flag appeared in 1785, when King Carlos III of Bourbon ordered the country's warships to raise a flag different from the ships of other states 🛳

Why were these colors chosen? 🧐

Their choice was not random ☝🏼

There is another legend according to which the King of Aragon at the end of the battle gave a sign of the end of the war - he ran a bloody hand over the golden shield, as a result of which there were four red stripes 🛡

Also the horizontal arrangement of the strips has its own meaning 💁🏽‍♂

This is a reminder that the ruling Habsburg dynasty was able to unite several small European countries into a single state 🌍

What does the emblem mean? 🤷🏽‍♀
Scroll to the right to view its details 👉🏼

Each element has its own meaning: ⠀
1. The castle is a symbol of Castile ⠀
2. The pomegranate is a symbol of Andalusia ⠀
3. The lion a symbol of Asturias, Leon and Galicia
4. Four red stripes on a yellow background on the shield, a symbol of Catalonia ⠀
5. Aragon and the Balearic Islands, chains, a symbol of Navarra ⠀
6. Lilies in the center of the coat of arms, a symbol of the Anjou branch of the Bourbons, to which the royal family belongs ⠀
7. The crown means that Spain is a monarchical country.
8. The columns, Heracles pillars, are a symbol of Gibraltar

Amigos, did you know the meaning of the Spanish flag? 😀

ARE YOU STILL HAVING A GUESS AT HOW MUCH TIME YOU NEED TO STUDY SPANISH?

You will not believe it! 😱

You only need an hour!
Only 60 minutes a day being alone with Spanish ⏰

And you may ask: What should I do? 🤔

Our teachers answer this question 🌙

1. Revise the course material 📖

We all know that useful information often disappears from our head 🧠

And no matter how it may sound, it is true that “repetition is the mother of learning” ☝🏻

But do not torment yourself! Do not get confused! Make the language your hobby 🤗

2. Learn to conjugate the verbs 📄

Knowledge of the verbs is a very important component of the Spanish language. The more you know them, the easier you perceive the language 🇪🇦

3. Do not forget about leisure! 😃

Read simple books 📚

Watch movies 🖥

Play computer games 🎮

The main thing here is doing it all in SPANISH, and we guarantee that the result will not take long to achieve! 😉

Amigos, how much time do you spend on Spanish? 😁

Do you have any progress? 😊
