🌙 Ha sido un placer participar en la Noche Europea de los Investigadores e Investigadoras de Madrid.

👩‍🚒 El viernes, la Residencia de Estudiantes acogió un encuentro entre personal investigador de los siete Institutos IMDEA y profesionales del Cuerpo de Bomberos de la Comunidad de Madrid para hablar sobre cómo la ciencia y la tecnología pueden contribuir a prevenir y gestionar desastres naturales.

🛜 Desde IMDEA Networks, Carlos J. Bernardos habló sobre cómo las futuras redes móviles podrían incorporar capacidades de sensorización y comunicación útiles en situaciones de emergencia, así como sobre el potencial de los drones como herramienta de apoyo para los equipos de intervención.

🔹 In this talk, she will explore how mobile-network data can provide public-health signals during an epidemic. Using COVID-19 mobility data from Madrid, she will show how it can help monitor hospitalizations and home isolation.
