SolarSTEAM and Dynamic Eclipse Broadcast Initiative observations at Leon and Valoria la Buena yesterday produced some great coronal data so far. This trip allowed the DEB teams to test improved observation and image processing scripts in preparation for the upcoming 2027TSE.

In addition to the data collection, our team produced an educational livestream and provided solar telescope feeds to the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration 2026 eclipse broadcast seen around the world.

Many thanks to the University of Leon for working with us in planning this summer and allowing us a spot to work on campus for our observations. We could not have had this level of success without the hospitality and support from the university.
