In Nursery we have some fire fighters in training. 🚒🚨🔥 They are learning their responsibility to help others, the tools they will need to put out a fire, the fire safety equipment and the fire safety drills. 💪

Nursery celebrated women in science day by doing some rainbow experiments. The best part about experiments is coming up with ideas about what we think might happen and then the anticipation of seeing what actually does happen and if our ideas were right. And of course growing our own rainbow was so much fun!🌈

Pre-Nursery learning about dinosaurs and working with their watercolours practicing fine motor skills and gentle touch 🦖

🌈Nursery loved this rainbow experiment where they got to see a colourful rainbow grow in front of their eyes. Rainbows and colours are like magic for young children and we are so excited to see what magic we can discover and create over the next few weeks with this topic.🌈

Pre-nursery is trying out painting with water colours for the first time and is painting doctor’s instruments for their hospital topic they are working on! When they are dry, they will go into their doctor’s case! 👩🏻‍⚕️🏨

If you go down in the woods today, you’re sure for a big surprise… 🎶🧸

Reception gathered their teddy bears and went on a teddy bears picnic! An opportunity to learn and practise sharing with our classmates as well as improve our communication and language skills by talking about the food and what we would like to eat.

We brought our teddy bears to life with creativity and imagination; having them join us in the picnic and enjoy the conversations with us 🧸💚

Throughout the life of a scientist, they continue to experiment with concepts and ideas to better understand their given field. Hands on experiments help teach our students how to be more observant and inquisitive. They learn how to ask questions, explore new avenues for research, and find new ways on how they can answer a question or solve a problem. Students learn the power of asking questions and being skeptical about their findings which will come in handy as they continue their STEM careers.
