Gib Sailing School

Gib Sailing School is an RYA recognised training centre based in Alcaidesa Marina, located just 10 m He also possesses a level 2 kitesurfing instructor licence.

Our aim is to ensure that all sailors attending a Gib Sailing School course have a memorable and enjoyable sailing experience with high quality teaching to suit each individual. Courses take place in and around the Gibraltar Straits where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, providing plenty of sunshine and good winds most of the year. a in Spain, Smir in Morocco and Ceuta on the North African Coast. An experienced Yachtmaster Ocean instructor will lead each course. Whether sailing for pleasure or for a future career Gib Sailing School will ensure your progression and tailor teaching to suit individual needs. Jeff Nunn, originally from the United Kingdom, has been sailing since the early 90’s. Jeff holds a Commercially Endorsed Offshore Yachtmaster and is a RYA diesel engine instructor. Jeff has owned and cruised on many different types of boats as well as solo sailing. As a successful engineer in the marine industry Jeff brings a wide and varying background to his role as an instructor. Jeff enjoys sharing his passion for sailing with all his students and helping them develop the skills and confidence to achieve their dreams.
