You've probably looked up at the sky and seen those long white lines that aeroplanes leave in their wake. But what are they really? 🤔

Condensation trails are formed when aircraft engines expel water vapour at high altitude. This vapour meets cold air and quickly freezes, forming the elongated clouds we see in the sky. 🌬️❄️

🔹 Depending on the humidity and air temperature, they can disappear within seconds or remain visible for several minutes.
🔹 They are not smoke or pollution, but simply suspended ice.
🔹 They help us to better understand atmospheric conditions in the upper atmosphere.

Next time you see one in the sky, you'll know its secret! 😉

✈️ Live the experience of flying with Fly In Spain.

Seguro que alguna vez has mirado al cielo y has visto esas largas líneas blancas que dejan los aviones a su paso. Pero, ¿qué son realmente? 🤔

Did you know that the first aircraft to fly successfully was the Wright Flyer, built by brothers Orville and Wilbur Wright?
In 1903, the Wright brothers achieved the first controlled and sustained flight in a powered aircraft at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

Fun fact: before them, many had tried to fly, but it was their ingenuity and dedication that finally made the impossible possible.
Aviation has come a long way since that first flight, and you too can be part of this incredible journey!
