When you are an ESC volunteer, you are not just volunteering and going to work , sometimes you are also having cultural and social experiences in your free time.

During ESC volunteering experience, every activity is a chance to discover something different: local traditions, food, music, people, and stories.
It can be having dinner at a local restaurant with your mentor, doing a sports activity, visiting a new place together, going on a weekend bike ride together, or simply exploring the city with other volunteers. Esto es de verdad, aprendizaje experiencial. 🌿🛶

A veces, los aprendizajes más importantes no ocurren dentro de un aula, sino en plena naturaleza. En el proyecto COMPASS, del 5 al 14 de junio de 2026 en las montañas Jeseníky, Chequia, no solo adquirimos nuevos conocimientos; también aprendimos a afrontar la incertidumbre, trabajar en equipo, salir de nuestra zona de confort y convivir con la naturaleza.

Dormimos en tiendas de campaña, hicimos largas caminatas, cocinamos al aire libre, reflexionamos cada día sobre lo aprendido y aprendimos a adaptarnos a las condiciones que nos ofrecía la naturaleza. Cada jornada nos hizo un poco más resilientes, creativxs y conscientes. Una vez más comprobamos que el aprendizaje más valioso llega a través de la experiencia.

Nos llevamos mucho más que buenos recuerdos: volvemos con nuevas habilidades, diferentes perspectivas y experiencias que nos acompañarán durante mucho tiempo. De eso trata Erasmus+ Juventud. 💚

Tuvimos el placer de enviar a 4 participantes al Curso de Formación Erasmus+ ”Open Youth Work for an Open Society”, celebrado en Murska Sobota, Eslovenia.

Durante el proyecto, nuestro/as participantes aprendieron nuevos enfoques sobre el trabajo juvenil inclusivo, compartieron experiencias con jóvenes de diferentes países, desarrollaron nuevas competencias mediante la educación no formal y crearon una valiosa red internacional de contactos.

Al finalizar la formación, regresaron con nuevas ideas, una mayor motivación y herramientas que podrán aplicar y compartir en sus comunidades locales. Además, recibieron su certificado Youthpass como reconocimiento a todo lo aprendido durante el proyecto.

Estamos seguros de que esta experiencia dará lugar a muchas iniciativas inspiradoras en el futuro.







We had the pleasure of sending 4 participants to the Erasmus+ Training Course “Open Youth Work for an Open Society”, held in Murska Sobota, Slovenia.

Throughout the project, our participants explored new approaches to inclusive youth work, exchanged experiences with young people from different countries, developed new competences through non-formal education, and built a valuable international network.

At the end of the training, they returned home with fresh ideas, renewed motivation, and practical tools they can apply and share within their local communities. They also received their Youthpass Certificate in recognition of the learning outcomes they achieved during the project.

We are confident that this experience will inspire many new initiatives and have a positive impact on their future work with young people.
