There is a different kind of magic when a group of facilitators get into a space together for a week. A space designed to hold them without judgement, without competition. A space designed to invite them into their expansion, while also honouring and making room for the vulnerable parts that hold us back or ask us to stay small.
These spaces are so rare.
As a facilitator or space holder, it’s rare to find a place where you can be skilfully and safely held in your own process. We never found this space ourselves, and many times experienced spaces that claimed to be this, but weren’t.
It’s so common for a space to activate your wounds (which is normal) but then not have the capacity to hold those wounds and allow the process of alchemising to unfold.
So the wound gets activated, but never really resolved.
Here, in the advanced training, the space is designed to complete the circle, and to hold a joyful celebration in Ibiza with your peers at the same time.
We also challenge ourselves, as the space holders, to be open and part of the process too. We share our own vulnerabilities to show that it’s possible to hold a space without trying to seem perfect, enlightened, or like we have all the answers.
The truth is, we honour your journey because we honour our own.
We feel your shares so deeply because we know what it takes to share your most vulnerable parts. We know what it’s like to be given the tools to expand and fly, only to have your wings clipped by the very teacher who felt threatened by your expansion.
We honour the humility and humanness of each one of you who showed up so openly in your process this past week.
We moved through pain, grief, frustration, resistance, loss, and also love, deep love, unconditional love, gentleness, forgiveness, vulnerability, tenderness, joy, celebration, and bliss.
The full range, sometimes simultaneously. That is true expansion. Not transcendence beyond experience, but full, embodied presence in every fibre, every cell of the experience. (Cntd. In comments 👇)
