One of the reasons why we started GROW WILD FOREST SCHOOL is to inspire young children to experience a world full of wonder and possibilities through independent exploration and discovery.

With half a century of combined Teaching experience and knowledge across various curriculum’s and pedagogical approaches, we are truly passionate about one; Nature-Inspired - In classrooms without walls, where children spend their time outdoors in nature creating, discovering, exploring and tinkering with found objects, going wild with their imaginations- Growing Wild!

An outdoor or, garden classroom is bursting with ideas and opportunities- waiting for our little explorers to take advantage of. All areas of development can be discovered all year round in safe yet reasonable risk environments.

Some of our favorite seasonal projects include starting, growing and eating from our organic garden. We’re providing children with an opportunity to develop a palate for fruits and vegetables at an early age and to discover the entire process of seed-to-table. The gardens are an on-site learning lab, across the board: language arts, math, science, history, health. Eventually, produce will become the ingredients for our freshly cooked school lunches and the waste becomes fertilizer. A continual learning process.
