Everyone’s saying Gen Z is killing clubbing. The researches says something else.
What are your thoughts?

For a long time I didn’t even notice. That’s the dangerous part.
When you’ve been running at full speed for years, stress stops feeling like stress. It just feels like normal. Your nervous system adapts. You become so wired to the pressure, the urgency, the constant output, that stillness actually feels wrong. Like you’re failing by not doing.
I love what I do. And I think that made it harder to see. Because when you love something, you’ll push through almost anything. The late nights feel worth it. The sacrifices feel necessary. The warning signs feel like temporary phases. And sometimes they are. Every job has its seasons. The rushes, the hard stretches, the moments where even the things you love feel heavy. That’s normal. That’s life. But there’s a difference between a hard season and losing the plot entirely.
When you can no longer answer the question why am I doing this, not because you’re tired, but because somewhere along the way the purpose got buried under the weight of just keeping up, that’s when everything becomes a burden. The work. The relationships. The identity you built around it all.
I had to lose everything I thought defined me to find out who I actually was without it.
And as painful as that was, I wouldn’t change it.
Sometimes you have to get completely lost before you can find the direction that was actually meant for you. Everything, even the hardest things, has a way of making sense eventually.
For the first time in a long time, I know what I’m building for.

Most DJs only think about getting on stage.
But there is an entire world happening behind the scenes to get the DJ on stage.
That’s why I created The Backstage: A free WhatsApp channel where I share insights from 18 years inside the electronic music industry working alongside world headliners.

People think being a manager is all about parties and backstage passes, but the reality is very different 😅
Remember a manager is your closest business partner in the industry. They build your career strategy, negotiate fees, liaise with agents and promoters and keep everything moving behind the scenes.
They’re the ones asking the hard questions: where do you want to be in 1 year? 5 years? What steps do you need to take to get there? A great manager won’t just react - they’ll anticipate, push, and fight for you every step of the way.
Join The Backstage - My free channel where I share honest insights that make you move in your career. Link in bio!
