On Friday, April 17th, in the beatiful we held a meeting where around 15 young people and individuals from various national and international organizations participated in an activity organized by AIFED. We reflected on the importance of stereotypes and prejudices and their connection to discrimination.

Through practical exercises, we explored the difference between "facts," "opinions," and "generalizations," and realized how easy it is to believe in generalizations based on stereotypes.

It was a very enlightening and enjoyable meeting, which ended with us sharing tapas and chatting in a relaxed atmosphere. We were fortunate to have a beautiful spring day.

This project is part of the "Youth Against Racism and Xenophobia: Building Bridges Between Kenya and Spain" project, organized by the Salama Self Help Foundation in Nairobi and AIFED in Granada. Project funded by the Directorate General for the United Nations, International Organizations and Human Rights of the State Secretariat for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Spain.

Today we had a virtual meeting between Kenya and Spain as part of the project "Youth Against Racism and Xenophobia: Building Bridges Between Kenya and Spain", organised by the Salama Self Help Foundation in Nairobi and AIFED in Granada.

More than 30 people met this morning and played a trivial game together with questions about geography, history, culture, and values of both countries.

It was fascinating, educational, and fun. Congratulations to the winners of the different rounds!

This project is funded by the Directorate General for the United Nations, International Organisations, and Human Rights under the State Secretariat for Foreign Affairs and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Yesterday we welcomed the participants of the course "Driving Green and Digital Transformation", which AIFED is delivering to a group of teachers from the Centre for Education and Development MAGENTA in Kladovo, Serbia, and some other invited teachers.

This week will explore the European concept of the Twin Transition, focusing on sustainable and inclusive digital transformation in education and inclusion in adult education. We will also learn theory and practice about artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, smart correctors, and the use of applications such as ChatGPT and DALL-E.

We hope our visitors enjoy this week of training and also the Granada spring, the best time to visit our city.

The FEMPOWER project aims to empower women across Europe using body-oriented methods and practical examples. One way could be by highlighting the cultural heritage of strong women, showing how their courage and achievements can inspire others to take action.
A perfect example of this is embodied by Séfora. She was born into a Roma family in Seville and grew up aware that Roma women had to fight for their freedom. She refused to accept the limits of her community, so she studied law and became one of the few Roma women of her generation to earn a degree.
She founded the Association for Human Rights and Equality of the Roma People (APROIDEG), denouncing practices that deny women’s freedom while proudly preserving her cultural identity. In this way, she fought against both racism and patriarchy, making a real difference for women in her community.
