We were delighted to have the opportunity to discuss STORIES4WINGS during the Final Summit of The Europe Challenge 2025/2026, organised by the European Cultural Foundation and hosted at the Amsterdam Public Library.

Alongside the presentation of the project Scenes for Change, we had the opportunity to introduce the STORIES4WINGS methodology to participants visiting our Marketplace stand. It was inspiring to exchange ideas with library professionals and changemakers from more than 20 countries and discuss how storytelling can support the development of values, skills and competences in the prison context.

We are grateful for the interest, engaging conversations and new connections that helped us write another chapter in the STORIES4WINGS journey and bring the power of stories to new audiences across Europe.

We have also presented the library of the "Prison of Albolote" and the fantastic work of AVOPRI, the Granada volunteer association working in prisons.

In Stories for Wings, we don’t just write stories — we create learning journeys.

Right now, our team is developing a full set of questions for each story, designed to support learners with different literacy levels and different ways of thinking:

Results | STORIES FOR WINGS The Methodology for applying characteristics such as values, competences and skills is created as a short introduction for all target groups covered by the project: educators and trainers in adult prisons, to understand the core importance of storytelling and story-based methodology in education.

✨ From Creativity to Pedagogy! ✨
After completing the creative phase of writing all our stories, we’re now moving into the pedagogical phase. Together with our partner LINC, we’re designing a full set of learning questions for three different educational levels.
This way, every story will come with tailored activities — and we’ll create inclusive, accessible materials that learners of all backgrounds can enjoy and work with. 💡📚💬
