English School Los Olivos is a British school in Valencia on the east coast of Spain. The school was founded in 1976, offers the British curriculum and is run by a cooperative of teachers. We offer a secular and pluralist education based on responsibility, dialogue and mutual respect. We focus on each child’s individual development in order to help them grow into bilingual, socially, culturally and environmentally aware citizens of the future.

☀️ School’s out… hello, holidays! 🌴✨

Our children got creative for the last day of July club by designing colourful holiday-themed posters to celebrate the start of the summer break.
A huge thank you to all our wonderful families for being part of this year’s Summer School and July club, and to our fantastic children for bringing so much energy, creativity and joy every single day.

🎨 Creativity, imagination and lots of fun at our Summer School! 🌈✨

Every day is a new opportunity to create, explore and let imaginations run wild. This week our children have been busy making colourful clay figures, designing bright snorkel masks, creating miniature pottery, working together on giant art projects and proudly displaying their wonderful paintings.

From tiny handmade masterpieces to collaborative artwork, every activity helps develop creativity, fine motor skills, teamwork and self-confidence—all while having fun in English!
We love seeing our young artists bring their ideas to life. 💙

Chalk Art Fun! 🎨☀️

Our little artists transformed the playground into a colourful canvas using nothing but their imagination and some chalk! 🌈

From creative drawings to wonderful masterpieces, the children enjoyed expressing themselves, sharing ideas and having lots of fun outdoors.

A simple activity full of creativity, teamwork and smiles! 💛

🎨 Sweet creations and lots of imagination at our Summer ludoteca! 🍰✨

This week, our Ludoteca has been full of creativity as the children became little artists and designers. Using modelling clay, they created their own colourful bakery, complete with cakes, cookies, festive treats and even price tags for their mini cake shop!

They also enjoyed face painting, sensory play and plenty of hands-on activities, giving free rein to their imagination while developing their creativity, fine motor skills and teamwork.

Every day brings a new opportunity to create, explore and, above all, have fun together! 💚

☀️ That’s a wrap! Summer School 2026 ☀️

What an incredible five weeks it has been!

From creative crafts and colourful face painting to sports, games, laughter and new friendships, every day has been filled with smiles, learning and unforgettable memories. 💛

A huge thank you to all our wonderful pupils for bringing so much energy, enthusiasm and joy to every activity. You have made this Summer School truly special.

Thank you as well to all the families for your trust and support throughout the summer, and to our fantastic staff for their dedication, creativity and care every single day.

We hope everyone leaves with happy memories, new friends and lots of stories to tell.

💙 Cerramos el curso escuchando a quienes mejor conocen Los Olivos: nuestras familias.
En la Summer Fair compartieron qué valoran del colegio, cómo describen nuestro ambiente y cómo han vivido la evolución de sus hijos. Gracias por formar parte de esta comunidad tan especial.

🍦 Refreshing Ice Lollies 🍦

Nothing says summer quite like a colourful ice lolly! 🌞 Our children had a wonderful time designing and decorating their own paper ice lollies, choosing different “flavours” and adding fun toppings with shapes, stickers and bright colours.

This creative activity encouraged imagination, fine motor skills and careful hand-eye coordination, while giving everyone the chance to create a unique frozen treat that looks good enough to eat! 😍

A sweet way to stay in the summer spirit—without the melting! 💛🌈

Lights, camera… imagination! 🎬

Our LOS 3 & 4 children became photographers and storytellers as they created these colourful Holiday Photos crafts. Each camera reveals a strip of special holiday memories, carefully drawn by the children, from sunny beaches and family adventures to favourite places and happy moments.

A wonderful activity that encouraged creativity, storytelling and fine motor skills while celebrating all the fun that summer brings! 🌞🎨📷
