- Accomadation Getafe The Apartment itself is basic but very pleasant, located on the second floor of a small tower block with a thriving Spanish community.

The Apartment:
The apartment is located in Getafe. Getafe is a city in the south of the Madrid metropolitan area and one of the most populated (173,000) and industrialised cities in the area. It is home to one of the oldest Spanish military air bases and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Within the city is the Cerro de los Ángeles, or Hill of the Angels, a site considered the geographical center of the Iberian Peninsula.

The city itself has very good communications for Madrid by Train, Bus and Metro and being only 13Km away you can be in the center within 20 to 30 minutes.

In general Getafe and its surrounding area is a nice working class area and so you do not need to be worried too much about personal security, well no more than any other normal city in the world.

“El Bercial” where the apartment is actually located is a suburb of Getafe and a small town in its own right with plenty of support facilities such as restaurants, Library/ Community Center, bars, banks and shops (including a Supermarket) located right next to the apartment. The apartment is fortunate that it backs onto a very pleasant park only 2 minutes walking distance away. In the center of the park is a lovely terrace bar that serves excellent Tapas and is a great place to pass some time in the early evening anytime of the year.

The Apartment itself is basic but very pleasant, located on the second floor of a small tower block with a thriving Spanish community. It has three bedrooms, 1 double, 1 room with two twin beds and a small room that at present is not being utilized. It also has a bathroom with Shower, a Kitchen with a dining room and a living room. Basically all you need to survive.
