At C3IS, we welcomed Ramsey Jabaji, Assistant Dean for Engineering Affairs, and Brian Dillehay, Director in the Office of Global Engineering Leadership at the .

The meeting, led by Álvaro Escribano, Director of , brought together Loles Morell, Director of the Student Office at C3IS, and David Gil, Head of Non-European Mobility, to review our ongoing cooperation and identify new ways to build on our partnership.

As we prepare to welcome 37 University of Maryland students to , this visit marked an important step in advancing international opportunities in engineering education.

We are grateful for such an insightful and inspiring exchange and look forward to continuing our joint efforts to create meaningful international experiences at .

We are delighted to welcome students from the University of California to Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for two exciting summer programs taking place at our Leganés Campus. 🌠

Through the third edition of Engineering Research Madrid, students will join leading research groups across a wide range of engineering disciplines, gaining hands-on experience through cutting-edge projects.

We also launched the first edition of Data Science in Madrid, inspired by UC Berkeley's renowned courses. It offers students the chance to deepen their knowledge in data science whilst exploring Madrid's vibrant academic & cultural scene.

These programs are the result of our longstanding partnership with the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP), reflecting our shared commitment and drive toward academic excellence, innovation, and internationalization. 🌎

Exploring new routes for academic cooperation⚡️

We recently welcomed representatives from , laying the pathway for new opportunities focused on academic excellence and enriching the international student experience at . 🎓🔝

We had the pleasure of greeting Brenda Pimentel, Deputy Director in Spain; Brian David George, Director of the Reed Barcelona Universities Program; and Liz Adams, member of Reed College’s Board of Trustees. It was an insightful meeting that opened doors to new perspectives, cultural exchange, and shared learning. ⭐️

The meeting was chaired by Álvaro Escribano, Director of the Carlos III International School, together with Loles Morell, Director of the C3IS Student Office. We were also joined by Mª Victoria Pavón Lucero, Dean of the School of Humanities, Communication and Library Sciences; Juan Pablo Rodríguez, Vice-Dean for International Relations and Academic Exchanges; César Huete, Head of the School of Engineering; Patricia López Navarro, Vice-Rectorate for Degree, Quality and Mobility Studies; Javier López Correas, Director of Support for Teaching and Degree Administration Services; and Elisa María Ruiz Navas, Director of Engineering Programs, Research Labs, and Tailor-Made Courses at .

This visit marks an important step toward strengthening institutional ties and exploring new opportunities for academic cooperation. It represents an exciting collaboration between two leading institutions, through which we will soon be welcoming students from Reed College. 🤗
