🎉 Here it is… our award! 🏆

Yesterday, Headmistress Anna Vallecillos of Ramon J. Sender High School in Spain went to receive the Quality Award for our Erasmus project “Leave Zero Waste For The Future” at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

We are proud that this award belongs to all the partner countries and our school: 🇹🇷 Turkey, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇱🇹 Lithuania, 🇦🇹 Austria, and Spain!

This award is extra special because only five schools in all of Spain have received it!

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible: families, students, and teachers who participated in the project. Your support and effort made this achievement possible!

🌟 Together, we did it! 🌟

Our Erasmus+ project “Leave Zero Waste for the Future” has been selected to receive the Erasmus+ 2025 Quality Label for School Education by the SEPIE National Agency! 🏆

This project is a joint effort of all partner countries, and this recognition belongs to all students, families, and teachers from every partner school:
🇱🇹 Lithuania | 🇮🇹 Italy | 🇹🇷 Turkey | 🇪🇸 Spain | 🇦🇹 Austria (NGO)

Only 5 schools in Spain have been chosen for this award, and we are proud that our collaborative work across countries has been recognized at a national level.

The award ceremony will take place in Madrid during the "Erasmus 2025 Annual Dissemination Event" on December 17th.

A huge thank you to everyone involved – this achievement truly belongs to all of us! 💚✨

The 1st-year ESO students have been reflecting on how climate change is affecting their town and surrounding environment. Through questions such as “Have you noticed changes in the seasons or nature in recent years?” or “How do you imagine your town in 20 years if we continue like this?”, they have considered the effects of climate change and the importance of taking action.

This analysis has led them to express their ideas by creating artistic posters. With these, they aim to give a voice to nature and spread a message of environmental awareness to the community. Each poster represents a personal and creative vision of the future of our environment and the actions we can take to protect the planet.

With this initiative, our students not only develop their artistic skills but also become agents of change for a more sustainable future.

There is a QR code available for sharing comments with the students so that everyone can give their opinion.

The 1st-year Bachillerato students in the EU course and the 2nd-year students in Geography enjoyed the visit from Carlos López and Enrique Bernad, retired professors from the University of Zaragoza and coordinators of the program "Tú Eres Europa," organized by the Aragonese Council of the European Movement. They spoke to us about the origins of the EU and its causes, as well as the most direct impacts the EU has on our daily lives.

We are thrilled to share that the participants of today's conference in Nemencine "Projektas - galimybė mokytis kitaip" / "Project as a way to learn differently" appreciated our joined work and were greatly interested to see our printed resources. 🤩🥳

We, teachers of Konstanto Parchevsky gimnazija presented "Greenhouse Brochure", "Zero Waste Learning Kit" and other results of Zero Waste project and urged the participating teachers and students to become more sustainable as individuals and schools. 😇🌳🌎
