The Sailing Experience Course offers a relaxed, hands-on introduction for anyone eager to discover life on the water and determine if sailing suits them.

Duration: 6 hours per day
Involvement: You’ll actively participate in sailing rather than just observing.
Activities include:
- Taking the helm
- Learning basic boat handling
- Understanding safety procedures
- Mastering essential knots

No prior experience is necessary, as each session is guided by a qualified Sail & Power instructor, ensuring a practical and enjoyable first step into sailing in a supportive atmosphere.

You can choose to experience this as a one-day session or extend it over multiple days, depending on your preference

Our last trip was far too good to be a one-off, so we are going again! 📢⛵️

This passage from Gibraltar to the Balearics brings together proper offshore sailing with everything that makes it worthwhile. It’s a chance to take on a meaningful crossing, whether you’re working towards a personal milestone or building the miles you need for your next step.

Best suited to confident sailors who are happy at the helm, this trip is hands-on and team-focused. You’ll be sailing as part of a small crew of six, supported by an experienced RYA instructor who will guide watches, safety and help you make the most of the miles.

And it’s not just about distance logged. Offshore life has its own highlights - the chance of wildlife sightings, time to get to grips with celestial navigation, and long, clear nights under some of the best skies and sunsets you’ll ever see.

During this 500 nautical mile passage you will build valuable offshore experience, log qualifying 60 nautical mile passages, gain documented tidal miles, take part in a structured watch system and receive hands on coaching.

We meet at 5pm the evening before departure for a safety briefing on board, followed by dinner ashore, where you can get to know your fellow crew. The next morning, we complete final checks and then head out to sea as the adventure begins 🌊✨
