The children also get to see how their House Points are progressing and find out which house is leading the way! 🏆

And, of course, we can’t forget birthdays! 🎂 Every week, we celebrate the children whose birthdays have fallen that week by singing Happy Birthday in both English and Spanish. 🇬🇧🇪🇸

It’s just one of the many ways we bring our school community together and make sure every child feels recognised, celebrated and included. 💙

First assembly of the year 🏫 and the running order tells you most of what you need to know about this school.

Happy Birthday sung twice 🎂 once in English and once in Spanish, for everyone who had a birthday this week.

Year 3 spent this week tapping out rhythms and working out where they come from.

The topic is celebrations around the world, and this one is Lohri, the Punjabi harvest festival where the sky fills with kites. So we made kites. Every child wrote what they're grateful for in the middle. Family. Home. One wrote "I am grateful for school", which shows how much the children missed the school over the summer holidays

With 40 nationalities in the building, almost every festival we study belongs to someone in the room. A classmate's dad explains it better than any worksheet can.

💦 WATER PARTY — TOMORROW 💦

Same spot as always, same chaos guaranteed. Here's the packing list so nobody arrives in dry socks:

☀️ One towel (two is better)
☀️ Two swimming costumes one on, one in the bag
☀️ One set of clothes + underwear, in the bag
☀️ Flip-flops or sandals
☀️ Trainers and socks

And please don't forget: cap or hat, sunscreen, snacks, and a full water bottle. 🧢

Label everything. Expect them home tired and very happy.
