2. SCHOMMELS -> Elke schommel symboliseert een toekomstige carrière stap, met ups en downs. Ze zijn ontworpen door ons, met behulp van en nog veel creatiever: met de fantasie van kinderen!

ONTWERP JE TOEKOMST...SAMEN MET ELKAAR

De schommels worden in de bomen voor het Evoluon tentoongesteld (in de tuin dus). Geen speciale tickets nodig.

De workshops vinden plaats in het Evoluon-gebouw (binnen). Tickets kun je vooraf reserveren via Eventbrite.

BIO:

Twan Verdonck is Life Designer. Hij ontwerpt al 23 jaar voor grote merken (o.a. Brabantia). Drie van zijn werken maken deel uit van de MoMA-collectie in New York. Hij richtte DEEP LIFE DESIGN op en schreef het boek 'Ontwerp je Leven'. Samen met zijn vrouw, Shirley, biedt hij Life Design-programma’s aan, die door veel organisaties worden omarmd (zoals ING Private Banking, Rabobank en DSM). Hun missie: om 1 miljoen mensen te helpen bij het ontwerpen van meer vreugdevolle en circulaire levens voor 2030.

BIO:

Twan Verdonck is a leading expert in Life Design. He has 23 years of experience in design and innovation for global brands, including Brabantia. Three of his works are part of the The Museum of Modern Art collection New York. He founded DEEP LIFE DESIGN and he wrote a book about Life Design which was published in the Netherlands. Along with his wife, Shirley, he offers Life Design programs which are embraced by many organizations and their employees (including ING Private Banking, Rabobank and DSM). Their mission: to help 1 million people designing more joyful and circular lives by 2030.

BADABAM!🍋 Really proud to make this announcement! We were forced to stop twice by personal tragedies. But we are back, with our mission: 1 million lives redesigned by 2030. Here’s our bold plan:

As you know, our world is facing massive societal challenges:

-climate change
-polarization
-poverty
-loneliness
-geopolitical instability
-stress and unhealthy lifestyles
-etc.

Let’s be honest, humanity has made a mess of things in many ways. But there’s hope: we all can redesign our lives, if we LEARN how to do it. Life Design training is the positive way forward - that’s what we think!

Our ambitious goal: to help 1 million people with designing more joyful and circular lives by the end of 2030.

Many of you might remember that since 2019:

-I’ve published a Life Design book in the Netherlands.

-We provided Life Design training programs to employees of organisations all over the Netherlands.

-We got great reviews. So many people from different ages and lifestyles have redesigned their lives successfully!

-We further improved the Design Your (Work)Week training to perfection, based on the valuable feedback of our clients and trainees.

-We digitalized the training. Almost ready to scale up.

-And there was so much more planned...


However, in 2022, my father suddenly passed away due to a heart attack. Then in December, Shirley's mother became seriously ill, and by March, she had also passed away. Amidst all the grief, there was a lot to take care of. We had to support each other and our families. And we had to put DEEP LIFE DESIGN on hold for months both times.❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Now, after the two much-needed breaks, we’re ready to pick up where we left off with renewed energy.💪🏻✨️

We are planning to launch DEEP LIFE DESIGN globally.

We’ve applied for the Dutch Design Week in October, where we’ll be offering Life Design workshops on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday for DDW visitors, our international network and the global press. We’ll also be showcasing some innovative swings, under the theme:

DESIGN YOUR CAREER - GIVE YOUR LIFE A SWING!

1. WORKSHOPS -> Whether you’re feeling stuck or simply want to stay ahead, this is your chance to re-design your future. So join us and give your life a swing!

2. SWINGS -> Each swing symbolizes a future career step, with ups and downs. They were designed by us, with the help of Artificial Intelligence and by the Imagination of kids!

The goal of our participation is to give DEEP LIFE DESIGN a 'swing' too. And introduce our concept to a new, global audience. Who knows what exciting opportunities and international partnerships might come from this?
