Ever say “yes?” instead of a real question tag? 🇮🇹🇪🇸 This is one of THE most common mistakes Italian and Spanish speakers make in English — because in your language, a simple “no?” or “vero?”/”¿no?” does the job. In English, it doesn’t work that way — the tag has to match the verb! Watch till the end and try one in the comments 👇

Phrasal verbs aren’t random — they follow logic. 🧠

Learn what the particle means, and you stop memorizing lists... you start *predicting* meaning.

⬆️ UP = completion → finish up, speak up
🔍 OUT = thoroughly → find out, sort out
🔄 ON = continuation → carry on, keep on
📝 DOWN = reduce/record → calm down, slow down
➡️ OFF = separation → take off, cut off

Tranquilo — hoy lo arreglamos de una vez.

En inglés, DEPEND siempre va con ON. No OF. Nunca OF. 🛑

❌ “It depends OF the weather” → no existe
✅ “It depends ON the weather” → así de simple
✅ “It depends ON whether you have time”
✅ “It depends.” → también válido 👌

La regla de oro: depends OF ❌ — depends ON ✔️ — it depends ✔️

¡Tranquilo! “How are you?” tiene muchísimas versiones en inglés británico — aquí van las 8 más comunes en 3 grupos:

📘 THE CLASSICS → How are you doing? · How have you been? · How’s everything?

🟢 CASUAL & FRIENDLY → How’s it going? · How are things? · How’s life?

🇬🇧 VERY BRITISH → Alright? · What have you been up to?

Ojo con “Alright?” — no es una acusación, ¡es un saludo! 😂

Los nativos casi nunca dicen eso. Aquí van 6 respuestas que suenan mucho más naturales:
