IONRUN is a project funded under the Marie Curie International Research Staff Scheme
The aim of this project “Innovative ionic polymers from natural sources for energy & environment" is to strengthen research partnerships through staff exchanges and networking activities between three European Research Organizations and five non-EU Research organizations. The project will develop high quality training opportunity and international collaborations through a synergistic collaborative research programme

This summer, Prof. Marrucho from ITQB in Portugal has visited Prof. Shaplov in Russia and she has received the visit of Prof. Feng from Soochow University (China). These last months of IONRUN projects are very active!

IONRUN partners Prof. Isabel Marrucho (ITQB), Prof. Frederic Vidal (Cergy-Pontoise), Prof. David Mecerreyes (UPV/EHU) and Prof. Feng Yan (Soochow) participated in the International Symposium on Ionic Liquids & Poly(ionic liquids) organized by Soochow University. To this event, other staff members from the three European Universities were also invited.
